Take Me To Neverland (Peter Pan/ Robbie Kay Fanfiction)

Chapter seven.

Vivian's P.O.V.

It pains me to have to keep secrets from Peter, but I must in order to keep him from what is to come.

I sit by the fire alone for not too long before Nibbs crouches next to me.

"What did he tell you." Nibbs asks.

" H-he told me that I only have three days to make Peter fall in love with me, and if I don't, Felix will take away my heart forever and kill Peter." i whisper in fear of someone over hearing.

"Oh, honey." he says under his breath, leans over and wraps his arms around me. "Do u love Peter?" he asks into my ear.

"I don't know."

It's a tough choice. death to the person who abandoned me, or say good bye to ever getting my heart back. No feedback from my heart makes choices like these harder. I don't know what to do.

Nibbs pulls away from me and kisses my forehead. "You should go get some sleep." he takes my hand to help me up.

Someone pulls my hand. I turn around and look up to see Peter looking down at me. "I'll take her from here."

Nibbs gives me a soft look before walking off. I can feel Peter's eyes on me as we hike to the cave.

Once we reach the cave entrance, we awkwardly stand staring at each other.

"You can go back now." I break the silence, expecting him to have already left.

" I think i'll stay here with you tonight. I can't risk losing you." his eyes don't leave mine.

Something in me is set off; for the first time ,in what seems like years, I feel a dash of warmth return to my chest, but it doesn't last more than a few seconds.

He leads me inside and sits on the bed with me. "Are you okay? cause lately you've seemed..." he pauses for a moment searching me for any sign of feeling. " different". He finishes.

"Yea i-" before he can let me continue, he interrupts me.

" You're about to lie. I know it has something to do with Felix. And I know you snuck off to see him the other night." he scoots closer to me. "I need to know what's going on."

I desperately wanted to tell him about my heart being taken , having to kill him, and the consequence. but I can't.

"It's just that I..... erm.. well... He wants me to leave with him but I won't and he's pressuring me." I lie right through my teeth.

"Oh, V." He wraps his arms around me. " I will never let him take you." he whispers softly and securely into the crook of my neck," i'll protect you."
