Chapter six.

Peter's P.O.V

I watch as Nibbs takes her inside. He held her hand in his, leading her as he looks at me with a saddened look as if he knew what was happening to her.

Once they disappear into the tree, I tell the other boys to make sure she stays, then I take off in flight.

I need to know what is going on, so I head over to the Indian Camp.

After being greeted by the Chief, i demand to see the Teller. He leads me to the giant black tent and hold up the opening and gestures me to enter.

"Hello Peter" and old creaky voice comes from behind me. a candle is lit and set on the ground where she sit. " I know why you are here, and I am dreaded to tell you that I can not provide the answer. For I am not the one you should ask."

"Then who?" I kneel across from her.

"The girl."

"Vivian." I mutter beneath my breath.

The Teller's eyes finally open revealing her glowing yellow eyes. "yes. Bring her to me."

"I will."

"It is of much importance that you bring her." she looks me dead in the eye.

I fly back to the camp to see all the boys standing in front of Vivian in defense. my eyes then wander to the tree line and find Felix with an evil grin spread across his face. He spots me as i land in front of the boys.

"What do you want." I stand my ground as he approaches us.

"I want to look at the girl." he nods toward her.

We wait a moment,I look behind me, the boys make an opening, and she slowly walks to him.

He brushes the back of his hand on down her face as he whispers something to her. Vivian then tries to walk away, but he pulls her back by gripping her wrist making her whimper a little. As he spoke, his grip on her wrist tightens and his look hardens.

I try to stand still, resisting the urge to go over there and pull her away.

He finally releases her wrist and she rushes away from him. I take her in and she digs her face into the crook of my neck.

Without saying a word, Felix turns into the forest.

"What did he tell you." I hold her shoulders to make her look at me.

She shakes her head and walks away to sit next to the fire.
