Chris' POV

I wanted to rip Zep a new one as he growled at my sister while I wrapped up Corria's rips. Corria had questioned Selene's reason for being here because my sister was blind. Bad idea. Selene ripped her a new one- and I had to step in.

Selene stopped instantly, shifted human, and curled up in a ball. She knew she had stepped over a line, but that's how she faught. All or nothing.

"Did your inner wolf even try to stop you?" Zep demanded. My hands paused for a moment and then I forced myself to finish up the wrappings. Corria was covered in gashes, had broken ribs, and even a spraned an ankle.

"I don't have one anymore," Selene whispered. all of Zep's anger faded away.

"What?" Selene took a deep breath.

"When I lost my sight, she gave herself up so I could have my echo sight," Selene answered. "The day I awoke to the darkness she spoke to me, telling to find my way in life. After that every sound was louder and I noticed that sounds created images in my mind.

"Now it's just me in here, and I'm the only wolf who relies on hearing." Taking a deep breath, Selene closed her eyes. "Sometimes it's easier to give up then to keep going." When she opened her eyes, I could feel her detremination. "But I will never give up."

"You did good," Corria said as I tied the wrapping and stood from her. "I did not need all these wounds but you did good. I pushed you because I did not quite believe the word about you- now I do. Zep, let's just camp here. Tomorrow we will all be at our best and be able to move on."

Zep left my sister and alone and padded up to his mate. He was the only one still in wolf form. I walked over to my sister as Corria relaxed against her mate. Sitting next to my sister, I gently touched her knee.

"Why did you do it?" I breathed loud enough for only her to hear me. She shrugged.

"Corria infurirates me," she answered. I chuckled.

"Like most people do," I muttered. She laughed. I smiled. "Come on, let's get some rest." Her body trembled and exploded into her white wolf. I shifted and became the flat grey wolf that was tucked inside me.

We curled up next to each other and relaxed. Together we could over come anything.

Selene's POV

I slowly stepped over my brother- trying not to wake him. A scrapping sound kept waking me as we slept, and the moment I stood, it stopped. Now I followed a rustling sound until I rounded a large tree. Something stood in front of me- something that was changing shape.

I gasped when a tiger stood in front of me. It showed me it's teeth and hissed slightly. My hackles stayed down as I listened to the sounds it made and took a better look at the images the sounds gave me.

The tiger was just bigger than I was in wolf form, and probably more powerful.

I sat down, cocking my head slightly. It cocked it's own head, then relaxed.

"You're not going to attack me?" The voice told me it was male.

"No, and I should be asking the same thing of you," I returned. The tiger tensed.
