Chapter 12
RESCUE ROUGE
*******Ronan's POV*******
I woke up to light chatter. I cracked my eyes open to see the jet I was on had landed. I looked outside to see a lot of snow, with already snow plowed runways lining the airport.
I let my eyes wander down to my shirt, that's when I remembered that Vlad had undressed me, then picked me up and held me. Where was he now?
I scanned the jet interior only to find Peter, Tyler, and the two burly men that I didn't know the names of. They were grabbing suitcases and bags from the cargo locks above.
I stood up from my white leather seat to leave the jet, to find Vlad when I was stopped. "Woah there," Peter said. "It's 7 degrees out there, you need to put some real clothes on, here," he said while handing me jeans, the big parka I bought, and some boots. It wasn't exactly smart winter attire, but it was way better than just the thin button down.
I hurriedly pulled on the jeans, I wasn't worried about changing in front of them because one, the button down shirt reached my knees, and two, it's not like they were paying attention to me anyway.
I pulled the parka around me once I buttoned the jeans, needless to say I was uncomfortable. I'm not one to relish in the fact of going commando.
I slipped my feet into the boots I was given and yanked the hood of the parka up. Everyone had left the jet, so I figured it was time for me to brace the cold.
I walked past my make shift bed, and headed for the exit. I slowly walked down the stairs into the snowy, nippy weather. Even though I'm a werewolf, the cold still affects me, just not nearly as much as it would a human.
I reached the bottom of the steps, and looked up to see more black escalades, guess they're a pack favorite. I didn't know which car to go to, until a door opened from one that was parked in the middle of the bunch, only to have Peter poke his head out and motion for me to come.
I did as I was asked, not wanting to stay in the cold any longer.
I got in backseat of the car to see Peter seated next to me. The two burly men from before were the ones in the front seats. "Buckle up, Ronan." Peter instructed me.
I buckled myself in, then leaned in some to talk. "Uh, no offense, but who are you guys?" I asked the people in front of me.
The one driving didn't turn around, because he was focused on the road, but said, "I'm Artyom, but you can call me Arty. Next to me is Edgar, but you can call him Eddie, we all do. We are warriors in the warrior pack. We are also fraternal twins, and if you ask me, I'm the twin who got the good looks." Arty answered with joking eyes.
I giggled at him, "Ah, well it's nice to meet you both, I'm Ronan."
Arty and Edgar both nodded their heads back at me in response, as I leaned back into my seat to relax. Sitting back, I started to inspect their faces more.
Both had almost snow, white, blonde hair with piercing light blue eyes. They looked exactly the same if you ask me, how the heck are they fraternal twins? They share the same lips and nose, all the way up to having the same short, military styled haircut. Arty definitely seemed like the talkative one because Edgar hadn't done more than barely nod. Hmmm, I'll have to ask about them to someone else later.
My stomach grumbled quite loudly, I put my hands over it hoping no one heard it. "Hungry?" Peter questioned.
I didn't respond, in fact I didn't even look at him. I was still upset with him for telling Vlad. Now a human is dead because of me! I told Peter not to tell him, yet he did anyway, who does that?!
