Chapter 26
HEAT

*******Ronan's POV*********

I had been feeling much better over the past couple days. Boris, Vlad's pack doctor, finally let me shift into my wolf again.

Yes, she's finally back. I guess with the new mark Vlad gave me, she decided she wanted to stick around.

Not that I blame her, lately things with Vlad have actually been, well, civil.

I was currently on my way to my room to go shower. I was all smelly from my recent run. Vlad had Peter tell me earlier today that I was to be dressed and ready by 5:00 tonight. Apparently my attire was already in my closet. I'm not too sure what the occasion was for tonight but I'm betting on some massive fanciness.

I hadn't really seen Vlad all that much lately. Well I mean I have but he's just seemed kind of secretive. And I'm not complaining, but he's always looking like he just showered whenever he's around me. I mean, don't get me wrong, he smells freaking amazing. His aftershave is to die for, but it's like he's on the new hygiene kick or something.

I don't know. I'll have to ask him about it later I guess. At least I think I can. Like I said our relationship has seem to have become more civil, but I still feel like I'm walking on thin ice just waiting for it to break beneath me, if I do or say the wrong thing. I just want us to work out. I realize I'm still really young, and obviously we both have a really, and I mean really long way to go, but he is my one and only mate I'll ever have. So, I think it's time I start taking advantage of that, and try getting to know him so that maybe someday in the future, hopefully sooner rather than later, we can uh I don't know, fall in love?

'Yeah, that'd be wonderful," My wolf sighed dreamily.

I rolled my eyes at her usual antics, same old thirsty girl.

'Excuse me.' She snapped.

I didn't bother with responding and found myself laughing out loud instead.

Finally I reached my room, and walked straight for the shower. Man, I haven't been in here for a long time. Not since, well when I ran away. But let's not talk about now..

I'm still not all too sure, what happened, especially with Evan. No one will tell me anything!

So frustrating..oh well, I'm pretty sure he's okay. At least I really hope so anyway. Oh good lord I'm a terrible best friend.

I walked into my bathroom, and pulled back the curtain only to find that the shower head had been snapped off.

...? Okay, then.

Guess I'll just take a bath. Of course me being the oh so perceptive person I am, I didn't notice until I tried to turn the water on that literally the whole water pipe connecting all the plumbing together had been totally ripped out.

Like, seriously why?

Now, I'm a little weirded out at this point. Why would someone deliberately yank out plumbing for a perfectly good shower. It's not like it didn't work! Even if it didn't, the way it was ripped out doesn't look like a professional renovation. It looked really ghetto, and was starting to freak me out...what if there were gross bugs in the large hole in the tile wall? Ya know, like those disgusting, creepy, millipede things. Oh god, those things make me squirm.

Now way am I getting naked with the bugs. It's not like I can anyway, the stupid plumbing doesn't even work.

Alright well, looks like it's plan B.

Okay, well because I have no clue where any other bathrooms are in this confusing joint, I guess I'll just go to Vlad's bathroom.

I've been in there once before, I was looking for a bandaid, because I tripped and fell this one time. I doubt he's in there anyway, he's seemed really busy with whatever he's been up to. Although, he very well could be in there at the same time, considering his incessant need to improve his hygiene all of a sudden. Honestly, I never thought he had a hygiene problem so whatever's going on with this new shower fetish, really needs to stop.
