Chapter 1: The Walk in The Park

I was having a bad day. A very bad day. I failed at all my gymnastics routines, and when I tried to invite Katie over, she said that she "had something to do". That made me feel very suspicious, and sad. At dinner, Mommy yelled at me because I didn't eat my broccoli. I thought it would be funny to sing the song broccoli instead of eating the broccoli.
"Hello mama would you like to be my sunshine!" I sang.
That didn't go over well. Daddy sent me up to my room for "Time Out". I cried and cried and cried. Suddenly I got a beep from my phone. Katie was having a sleepover with LIV!! I decided to text her and see what's going on.
Annie: Hey! Why are you hanging out with Liv?
Suddenly I got another beep.
Katie: Because you dumped her and now she doesn't have any friends!
Annie: I did not! She dumped me! So I dumped her back!
Katie: Annie, I don't know why, but you keep dumping people who are misunderstood! Its probably because your "famous" and "rich" from Bratayley! Now if you will excuse me, I'm playing Pie Face with Liv.
I threw my phone down and cried. Now my BFF was against me. And she was playing Pie Face with Liv.... That was my favorite game!
In the middle of when I was bawling, Caleb barged into my room.
"ANNIE!" He screeched. "WHERE IS MY BASEBALL SIGNED BY MY FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER?!"
I bawled. Now EVERYONE was mad at me.... Except Hayley. I quickly made up an excuse for Caleb and went to Hayley's room.
"Hey, Hay Hay, do you want to go on a walk?" I asked.
"Sure!" She replied.
We went outside and shut the door behind us, without telling Mommy, and started strolling for the park. It was beautiful in the evening. Flowers glistened, ponds sparkled, and it very dark.
Then Hayley saw a lake, with a sign on it. The sign said "DO NOT FALL IN". Suddenly I dropped on of my earrings in the lake! I reached, reached down for it, but I couldn't. Suddenly I fell in! I couldn't swim! I was a gymnast, not a swimmer!
"Hayley!" I gasped. Hayley tried to pull me up, but with my weight we both fell in! Suddenly I saw someone take out their phone, and red and white flashes were coming near, I blacked out.
