Chapter 12: R.I.P Caleb

I was going to skip school for Caleb's funeral. It was sad. That entire time I was thinking things over. I was fire. I had killed him technically. But it was mostly Hayley's fault. She was the one who kept her lava lamp on all day. She was the one who put her cloths on top of the lava lamp. She was the one who told me last minute. And it was her fault. All her fault.
Anger was boiling up inside of me. Why me? Why do I have to suffer?
Teardrops were spilling out of my eyeballs now. Hayley put her arm around me, but I pushed it away.
At home I went into my room and cried and cried and cried. I posted a picture of Caleb earlier and captioned it "R.I.P Caleb. I know you are playing baseball in heaven😢😇." Now I'm getting beeps from my phone. I decided to answer them. I got a DM from supernatalie10. I opened it and she said "Annie! What happened to Caleb? I know this is hard on you." I cried and replied "Thanks. He died in a fire. Thank you for being so supportive." Then she replied back and totally forgot what we were saying. She said "Annie! Please follow me on musical.ly and on snapchat and on everything!"

I deleted that chat and went to the next chat. This one was from thegymnastlucy. She said "Annie! I don't need to know what happened, but if Caleb's gone, he will be preparing a home for you in heaven. Your guardian angel is looking out for you!"
Your guardian angel is looking out for you. The words bubbled around in my head as I replied a thank you, and followed her back.
I went down into the basement, dead Caleb's room, with my guardian angel protecting
me. A tear rolled down my cheek as I looked at Caleb's bed. Suddenly, I saw Caleb waving on his bed.
"Don't be mad at Hayley, Annie. She's just a kid." He said.
I gasped and ran upstairs. No way would I be taking a ghosts advice.
"Annie, can I talk to you?" Hayley asked.
"No." I replied, selfishly.
"But Annie-"
"NO." I said sternly, "If you want to talk to me, talk to me outside at exactly 12:00 PM." I told her as I walked away.
I had a plan.
