Chapter 15

"Scar, what we're you dreaming about?"

Oh, crap. Oh, crap. His question echoes in my head. You know when you yell something in a cave, it echoes? Well, that's what his question is doing, only inside my head.

Wanna know what my dream was??

Rob had gotten collered. He was inside a cage, high above the ground, held up by a chain. Gisbourne was smiling evily. The cage was lowered, and Gisbourne commands

"On your knees. You will die like the traitor you are, worse than your wretched father."

"I would love to oblige, but there does not seem to be enough room to get on my knees." Rob. My heart stops when I hear those confident, cocky words.

Gisbourne opens Robs door, so he can get on his knees. Suddenly, I scream. "NO!!" and I run up to him. I decide to, in that moment, do what I have been running away from, ever since I was 13 years old.

I will marry him, of my free will, as long as he frees Rob and allows him to leave peacefully, with no fights.

I run up there, and tell Gisbourne

"If you let Rob go free, I will do the one thing you could never get, neither from my father or by force."

As I watch Gisbourne think it over, I walk right into Robs arms. He hugs me, and whispers

"Please don't do this. We can get away, I know we can."

"No, you are not in any condition to run. I have to do this. I am so sorry, Rob."

What he says next makes my heart both stop, melt, and race at the same time.

"You are my whole heart Scarlet. And, having you do this for me is breaking it."

I whisper "And you really think this is a good time to tell me? Why couldn't you have told me sooner?"

"I'll tell you if you come back to me, and stay safe." Always. I will always come back to him.

Then, suddenly, Gisbourne cuts in."Well, I hate to intrude on this touching moment, but we really.must be getting on with the ceremony, my dear girl." I just sigh, and quickly kiss robs cheek. Gisbourne rips me away, and I say

"I will not do it until Rob is out safely."

Gisbourne nods to the guards, and I watch as Rob walks out, injured, as the townspeople clear a path for him. Suddenly, he turns around and yells "Scarlet, I will come back for you! I swear it." As he said that, I screamed. I saw a guard with an arrow aimed at his head. "Run!! Your life is worth 12 of mine! Go!! Please!" I screamed.

Suddenly, I felt something on my shoulder, shaking me. Then, my name whispered. "Scar! Scar! Wake up, it's ok!"

Suddenly, I wake up. I'm in the cave. Rob is safe. Gisbourne did not get me.

Yet.

A/N Hey guys! I'm so sorry about the wait and all the weird one sentence chapters.....I accidentally deleted wattpad from my kindle and couldn't get it back till now.
