Napoleon's Pov
Illya and I stepped onto the back porch.
"Uh," I said, "Illya and are going out for drinks."
"Oh," Gary said, "mind if I join?"
"Actually," Illya said, "we do mind. Bye."
We walked out the front door and met up with Alexander. We drove for about ten minutes and then came upon a house.
"What are we doing?" I asked.
"Well," Alexander said, "I have been following people who work for Victoria since the last time and I have found out some live here. So I figured we could sneak in and see what's going."
Illya and I looked at each other. This was ridiculous but it had to be done.
Illya and I looked in the back of the car and found black clothing. We put on the clothing and parked the car far away from the house. We then walked down the street and approached the house, the house had to be around four stories. There were vines on the side of the house. We climbed up the vines and came upon a broken window. It led to a dark and empty room. We climbed into the window and stepped into the cold room that smelled like wood. I got out my flashlight and shined it on the wall. There was a deal with a book on it pushed up against the wall. I opened the book and it had people's names and identification in it. I came across Victoria's. I read it.
Sex: Female
Eye Color: Blue
Hair color: Blonde
Height: 6'3
Birth: March 3, 1917
My eyes locked on her birthday. 1917? She was 48 years old. How? Did she lie about her age? She looked so young but yet she was so old.
I showed Alexander and Illya.
"She's older than I expected," Illya said.
"Yes," Alexander said, "she must have lied about her age originally. I wonder why."
"Keep reading her identity," Illya said.
I read it.
Has one child. Gave up for adoption.
"Maybe she lied about her age so her husband wouldn't question if she had a child or not," Alexander said, "and lied about her age so her husband would like her."
"Why would she do this?" I asked.
"To control," Alexander said, "but she's trying again and trying to get revenge."
Suddenly outside of the door to the room, we heard footsteps.
"Let's get out of here," Alexander said.
We got out of the window and climbed down. But it stayed hanging onto the vine to listen to who was in there.
The lights flickered on and I heard two people talking.
"I'm glad I found you," I heard a familiar voice say. I then realized it was Lucas Potter. I thought he was dead as well. "We are going to kill those scum."
"Indeed," I heard the sour, sinister voice of Victoria say. "They are going to pay. They almost killed me once but this time they are going to die."
I gulped and climbed down the vine and we got in the car and Alexander drove us back to Gary's.
When we arrived we told Gaby and Shannon what had happened.
"That's so weird," Shannon said.
"And serious," I said. "She's lied and now teaming up with Lucas."
"What's the plan?" Gaby asked.
"We don't know yet," I said, "hopefully we don't run into them."
"But they killed a man," Shannon said, "we have to arrest them."
"But this is different," Napoleon said, "they're dangerous."
"That's exactly why we need to get rid of them," Shannon said, "if they're dangerous."
"I agree," Illya said.
"Well then what are we going to do?" I asked.
"We'll have to kill them," Illya said, "so blow up the house?"
"It's not that easy." I said sarcastically," I think there's a law against that."
"Well it's our job," Illya said.
"But you can just go bombing houses whenever you want," I replied, "and it could cause casualties outside of the house. That idea is out, it's ridiculous."

"Then what?" Illya asked.

"I don't know," I replied, "we'll have to discuss this with Alexander."

"I want to see this," Gaby said.

"I will take you," Illya said. "Tell Gary we went out for...a romantic dinner."

"Oh Illya," Gaby said, "you're so sweet."

Illya rolled his eyes and they left the bedroom and exited the house.

I sat down on the bed and started undoing my tie. There was a knock at the door.
"Come in," Shannon said.
Gary stepped in.
"I'm off to work," he said, "check the mail for me while I'm gone...I haven't checked it all day."
"Will do," Shannon replied, "goodbye."
"Bye," Gary said.
He closed the door. I watched him through the window get in his car and drive away.

Shannon went outside and got the mail and came back in. She walked into the bedroom holding a letter.
"That's odd," she said reading the envelope, "it's from my home in England. I guess Gary still keeps in touch."
"May as well read it," I said.
"No," Shannon replied, "it's an invasion of privacy."
"So," I said, "what's going to happen?"

Shannon rolled her eyes and opened the envelope. The pulled out a piece of paper with writing on it.

"It's a very long letter," she said.
She started to read it. The more she read it the more her expression started to change. Her face started to turn red causing beads of sweat to form on her forehead.
"Shannon?" I asked, "Are you alright?"
Suddenly tears started streaming down her face.
"Shannon," I said standing up and walking towards her, "What is it?"
"My mother is dead," she said while sobbing.
"How?" I asked.
"Influenza," she replied sobbing even more. "I have nobody now, all my close relatives are dead. I'm going to be alone and I have nowhere to go."

I pulled her into a hug and she buried her face into my chest. I could almost imagine how much mascara was being smeared into my clothes.
"You have Illya, Gaby," I said and then hesitated, "and me. You have us."
"Yeah," she said, "but I'm not going to be with you guys forever. I'm going to have to leave and I'm going to have nobody that I can go to. Holidays and family traditions won't be the same."
"Don't worry," I replied, "it's all going to be alright."
