Airplanes are a way of transportation but not all people enjoy riding on an airplane to get to another city. Normani was scared of an airplane hearing all the stories of crashes and low fuel. "Mani don't be scared just pray and you will have a safe trip." 

Normani was holding on to the stuff animal Dinah had bought her from the zoo. "Thanks I will pray." 

"Flight 24 ready to board." Normani started to slowly get up and embraced Maddy in a hug. "I will call you when I get their."

  It's time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad and I'd much rather say hello. Hello to a new adventure.

Seeing the sky from a plane was like becoming a bird for four hours. Normani didn't sleep she plugged in her music looked outside.

Normani mouthed the lyrics as they where sung by John Legend. She loved this song especially the unique beat.

"Please buckle up we have reached our destination." Normani smiled as she looked out the window seeing the Cali life different from her Canadian life.

The black girl grabbed her bag from under the seat and held onto her stuff animal as she they land with smooth landing.

Normani got up from her seat as she waited for people to past she took out her head phones and wrapped them around her phone and waited till the aisle was clear to go. Walking into the airport she looked at her surroundings. She made her way to a food stand and got a donut. "That will be $2.99" the female said as she gave Normani her donut. The brunette gave her three dollars and thanked the woman. 

Now she was off to find her luggage and Dinah. 

She had reached the luggage pick up and looked for her bag. "Looking for something?" Normani turned around and was met with brown eyes and blonde hair. She smiled and hugged the girl. "Dinah" the brunette said the blonde returned the hug. "How was your flight?" "It was amazing and I got a picture of the sky" Normani said excitedly. Dinah smiled "Lets get your luggage so we can head out."

"Welcome to my dorm." The two girls had finally arrived at their destination. "It's so colorful." Normani said as she looked around. "Let me guess this is your bed?" Dinah nodded walking towards it "I have movies if you would want to watch any later on tonight and also up to date video games." 

"Can we play video games?"

That's exactly what the girls did they played video Normani was seated in between Dinah as they played what ever game was in the console. "Mani in a little while we have to go to Mike he needs a few pictures and than we can get ice cream or do something of your choice." 

"That will be fun how about we head out now so we can get a head start."
