"Ladies first" Dinah said as she opened the door for Normani entering chick-fil-a. "What would like I will pay." 

"Chick-n-strips and waffle fries" Normani said fixing her coat and getting her phone out. "Want to go pick out a seat or booth for us?" Dinah asked the brunette nodded and walked to an empty tidy booth. 

"Hey pretty lady" Normani looked up and was met with a man covered in tattoos and blonde hair with light brown skin. Normani looked back at her phone and felt a hand touch her thigh she jumped. "Please don't touch me" Normani asked politely. "Hey I am chris your next boo thang."

"Who do you think you are" Dinah had approached the table seeing Chris touching Normani. "Dinah hey boo." 

"Get your hands off my girlfriend" she said seriously. Chris quirked an eyebrow "girlfriend last time I checked you where so single." Dinah clenched her jaw and placed the tray on the table with Normani. "Look here you Chris Brown aid carrier I had babies with many girls fuck boy if you ever come near me or any of my friends or my girlfriend you better make sure your not in town cuase I will get my hands on you oh right for the second time. Don't forget the time I almost murdered your ass." Dinah sneered as Chris started to slowly walk away. 

Dinah calmed down and watched as Chris walked out of the restaurant. "Are you okay" she asked turning around the face the melanin girl. Normani nodded ad watched as Dinah sat down. 

"Girl friend huh" Normani smiled as she started to eat her food. Dinah looked up after putting enough ketchup on her waffle fries. "I have to protect you at all cost." 

"I like the sound of that but you never asked me to be your official girlfriend."

"I am going to ask you the proper most 'cliche' way ever" Dinah said smiling at the girl in front of her. 

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain." 

"So about that hot chocolate and I bought some warm blankets." Dinah said as she watched Normani look through the blondes sketch book. "Okay," Dinah got up from her bed and made some hot chocolate for herself and the other girl. 

"After this can we watch Netflix and cuddle?" Normani asked. "Sure whatever you would like" Dinah walking over to the bed with a tray of hot chocolate and other sweets. After settling in they both started to talk. 

"So tell me why you had a bad day yesterday."

Normani sighed "It's just stress," Normani kind of told the truth but not the full truth. 

"Theirs more to it I see it in your eyes." 

"Their's these twins and a brother they actually where part of our orphanage for a while do you remember Halle and Chloe with Keith." 

"Those poor soul cheater and bastards I remember them."

"Well they have been forcing me to do their work, I found out Keith actually stole quit a few girl virginity he had tried it to me but I wouldn't let him. That's why he wants me to do his work for him his gotten a few girls pregnant. I don't want to be around him or anyone on that campus except for Maddy. Their are nights where I lay awake thinking of my mother of how many people don't know I exist. I had a sister but never knew where she was moved to. I am just broke inside."

Dinah didn't say anything but pulled the girl close and kissed her head. "I will make sure to help you find your sister."

"We need to get matching merch." Normani suggested. "You think," Dinah said smiling at her."

"Oh yah by the way I noticed the rip in my hoodie I gave you," Normani looked at her with wide eyes. "I'm sorry its just Halle pulled me back yesterday and she-," Dinah sat up and did something she would have never done in a million years to the girl. She kissed her and shut her up. 

Normani kissed back and they both pulled away once they notice they where lip locking. 

"I'm so sorry." Dinah said "I'm going to the bathroom." 

Normani watched as she went to the bathroom and locked it. The brunette smiled and touched her own lips. "Wow," she breathed out. 

Dinah was looking at her face in the mirror she smiled she finally kissed Normani.

  "You've got this life and while you've got it, you'd better kiss like you only have one moment, try to hold someone's hand like you will never get another chance to, look into people's eyes like they're the last you'll ever see, watch someone sleeping like there's no time left, jump if you feel like jumping, run if you feel like running, play music in your head when there is none, and eat cake like it's the only one left in the world!"
