Normani had been hiding things. Things that she couldn't tell anyone, but what was she hiding could it be that bad. "Normani you dating a girl, you can't go to the college if you are part of the LGBT community." Normani kept walking straight as a few of her fellow un supportive class mates followed. "She's probably dating a dyke knowing her," one student said.

Normani was pushed to the ground as she was met face to face not with the floor but with a smack to the face. She grimaced as she felt that stinging pain. Normani let her bag drop as she stood back up and started throwing punches at the boy. She was pulled back by Jordan. "Hey Mani, your going to get kicked out". Normani calmed down as Jordan walked her over to a bench. Jordan walked over to the crowd and grabbed her bag but didn't leave without saying "You guys should be ashamed of your self. Fighting a girl just because her sexuality."

Normani was getting a phone call from Dinah but didn't answer. Not because she didn't want to but because she didn't want to talk to anyone right at that moment.

Normani had a series of being bullied even going through depression.

The black girl went to her desktop and pulled her project she needed to finish. But she started to have these emotional feelings. Does Dinah really like her like the other people say she does? Does she really want to spend the rest of her life with such a girl? Will Dinah care if she where to break up with her, would she move on? Does the word I love you have an affect on her?

She quickly picked up her phone and called the girl. "Hey love". Normani took a deep breath. "Hello um I have to break up with you I'm sorry but I can't take it anymore. This pressure and just living here in general. I can't stand the distance when I went to be with you. I want you to protect me. But I don't want a long distance relationship."

With that she hung up and she walked into the bathroom. She locked herself in leaving her phone on her bed.

"How can I be reasonable? To me our love was everything and you were my whole life. It is not very pleasant to realize that to you it was only an episode."

- W. Somerset Maugham, The Painted Veil
