Chapter 15

1 week later

Prodigy

Me and A.J. are coming home from school he's calling my name but I'm angrily ignoring him we walk into my room

"Prodigy" he says

"I don't wanna talk about it A.J." I say

"I'm sorry okay?"

"Why you apologizin to me for A.J.?" "I ain't the one who's nose you busted today"

He got in a fight at school today

"I'm sorry prod but that dude made me mad"

"Oh yea that makes the shit oh the fuck k so what you goin fight everybody that make you mad?" "Ya retarded bipolar ass goin kicked the fuck outta school"

He stands in the doorway with an upset face looking down at the floor then it comes to me

"A.J." I call out he looks at me "you didn't take your medicine today did 'ju?" I ask he doesn't say anything

"DID'JU???" I ask again this time more angry he jumps at the tone of my voice but still says nothing I get up off the bed and walk over to him I grab him by his wrist and drag him to the bathroom

We walk in the bathroom and I go in the medicine cabinet I find his bottle and pull out a capsule

"Here" I say holding it in my hand he's just standing there staring at it

"A.J. take the pill"

"NO!!" He says

"A.J. Castillo I'm not playin wit'chu take this fuckin pill" I say sternly

"I SAID NO!" He yells slapping the pill outta my hand I reflex and slap him in the face

"A.J. I'm....." I try to apologize but get cut off by him running away from me he runs to the room and I hear the door lock

I knock on the door

"A.J. open the door please" I say

"NO" he says from inside the room I rest my forehead on the door and sigh to myself

"A.J. I'm sorry I smacked you okay?" "Please open the door"

"No Lee me alone I hate you I never wanna talk to you ever again!!!"

I sigh and walk away from the door I'm making my way downstairs

I go into the kitchen and start rummaging through one of the drawers until I find a knife big and sharp enough

Now I'm sitting at the kitchen table I take off my shirt and rest my left arm on the table then I rest the blade on top of it

Slowly I start to trace the blade up my dark chocolate flesh it's starting to cut into my skin

"Mmm" I whine at the pain I'm starting to cry as I continue to cut into my skin I stop when I finally see blood

I'm crying to myself letting the blood drip from my arm onto the table

"Prodigy??" I hear someone call out I look up and see A.J. standing there shocked his face is stained with tears

"What are you doing?" He asks walking over to me

"Please A.J." I'm crying "I promise I will never hurt'chu again just please please forgive me" I can feel the tears running down my face

"Prodigyyy" he says as he's pulling my head into his chest I wrap my arms around his waist and continue to cry
