Chapter 2

later that day

Prodigy

I came in from playing basketball and smelled food cooking

"hey mom" I said walking into the kitchen

"oh hey honey" she said

"I thought I was cooking tonight?"

"oh you were supposed to but I wanted you to spend some time with Krisstenn"

"auugh so he's still here?"

"he's up in your room"

"fine i'll go "spend time with krisstenn"

"CRAIG!!!"

"I know I know be nice"

upstairs

I walked in my room and saw A.J. sitting on the bed with his back to the headboard he had his orange earphones plugged into his phone and there was some strange music playing

I took off my sweaty shirt and threw at his face

he snatched my shirt from his face and gave me an angry look which quickly went away when he realize I was shirtless

"is there a problem?" he asked taking the earphones from his ears

"what are you doing?" I asked

"well I was listening to music"

"yeaaa I know that the fuck were you listening to?"

"Dead By April"

"dead by the fuck what?"

"they're a Swedish rock band"

"so you're into all that blood and guts and violent depressing screaming huh?"

"not all rock music is bloody, violent, or has screaming in it"

"whatever" anyway my mom says I should come "spend time" with my new foster brother"

"as if you really want to"

"how you know what I do and don't wanna do?"

"well the fact that you've been mean to me ever since I got here"

"it's not you it's just that.... ya know what fuck it dinner's ready anyway"

"okay tell Ms. Wanda i'll be down soon"

"whatever"

downstairs

"BUT MOM" I whined

"Craig, I really don't understand what the problem is"

"he's weird mom" "he listens to some freakin band called Dead by april"

"Craig, Krisstenn is not weird he's just different"

"well why cant he go be different somewhere else?"

"ummmm" we both turned to see A.J. standing in the doorway of the kitchen

"oh Krisstenn, sorry sweetie we didn't see you there" "take a seat dinner's ready"

we all sat down at the table

"Craig would you like to say the blessing?" my mom asked me

"once you tell me what I have to be blessed for" I said

"well for one you should be blessed that your mother has put her hands on you yet"

"and for 2 you should be blessed for the new family we have joining us today"

"ya know what?" "i'm sick of you tryna force this KID into my fuckin life mom!"

"CRAIG CRIPPEN" "now I know jojo's death was hard on you but Krisstenn is part of this family now and that's final"

I got up from the table and postioned myself in A.J.'s face

"read my lips A.J."

"you will NEVER be my family" I told him before I went up to my room

well that went well

anyway i'll post chapters 3 and 4 2morrow and after that it updates every Saturday so uh yeeaaa
