Chapter 9 Can't Sleep

So sweetcheeks, anything you want to do for 15 minutes? Watch tv, sleep, cook something?
Hmm... I think we should do whatever you want to do Sansy!
Sans' smile grew a little wider as he shrugged.
Ok kiddo. Er, Frisk.

Sans seemed uncomfortable calling you kid, but seemed to have the nickname etched into his brain, having spent so long calling the humans that.
Sans?
Hm? What is it Frisk?
Why do you keep calling me kid?
Sans sighed, as if preparing for a huge speech.
Well, when the first humans fell down here, they all were kids, or, at least, looked like kids. And, I didn't really ask any names, cuz asking people's name is an invasion of privacy, if ya ask me. So, I kept on callin em kids, none of em seemed to mind.

So kid, do ya like board games? Like monopoly, chutes and ladders, checkers?
I like chess. Do you have chess?

I wonder how Papyrus is doing. He makes decisions fairly quick, should we go check on him?

Sans grabbed your arm and skeleported you two to the shed.
Heya Paps. Have ya made your decision yet?
Y-YES BROTHER. I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, SAY YES TO THE DEAL.

Where will I sleep?
You can sleep in Paps' room. Now, come on.
Sans grabbed both yours and Papyrus' arm, and skeleported you three into the house.
Ok Sans. I'm heading to bed.

Sans kissed the top of your head, and you headed for Papyrus' room. You heard Sans talking to Papyrus as you left
Now Papy, this is going to be a long night for you.
O-OK BROTHER.
No brother tonight. Just names.

As you entered the bedroom, you could already hear Papyrus moaning from Sans doing something. It was going to be a long night for you. A long night indeed.

You saw the rays of light peeking from Papyrus' curtains. You hadn't gotten a wink of sleep. (Is that the right phrase? Idek!) You went downstairs, to be met only with Papyrus slumbering on the couch, the only stitch of clothing his scarf. Sans was making breakfast, hot dogs.
Hey Frisk.
You jumped. You hadn't even seen him turn around.
Hey Sans.
You stiffled a yawn.
Didn't get much sleep, huh?
Sans gave you a knowing wink.
Sans! Did you honestly think I'd be able to sleep with the noise you two were making down here?
Sans shrugged.

What the actual fuck Sans! First, you tell me to sleep, then you prevent me from sleeping! What are you trying to do?!
Sans shrugged again.
I just want to watch you while you sleep without being sleepy myself. Is that really that bad?
You sighed, maybe you could go to sleep now.
No, I guess not. Now, since your done having your fun with Papyrus, can I sleep?
Heh, sure thing Frisk. Go right back up there and sleep your little heart out. Goodnight-morning, I guess.

You went back up to Papyrus' room and drifted off to the miraculous land of sleep.
