Ava's POV

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Gia looked at me waiting for my answer. I always wanted to be her girlfriend but when I went to answer my heart just stopped completely.

I felt a joint running through my body, then memories of me and Gia flashed through my eyes. All the times that we had stolen kisses, laughter and me being happy.

I started to feel more drawn to Gia. Like our bond was strengthening. Could it be possible that me and Gia were mates but never realized?

I felt my heart start up again but it felt different.

"Thank god!" I heard Gia's voice in distance. I opened my eyes looking directing at her, this time I was lying back on the bed not in her arms anymore.

She reached and placed her hand on my thigh as I felt sparks going through it causing me to gasp. She quickly moved her hand away.

I never answered her question

"Yes" I said looking at her, I can tell she was confused making her raise her eyebrow.

"Yes to what?" Gia pulled the blanket more on me and wrapped her arms protectively.

"To be your girlfriend" I blushed as she started to smirk down at me. I felt her hands started to rub my lower back as I felt sparks again.

"We bonded. We're mates." she nuzzled her head in my neck making me giggle. She started to nibble at the base of my neck making me push her slightly away letting her know not now.

"Sorry" Gia rolled onto her back pulling me with her so that I could sleep. It was probably at least three in the morning and Gia was still wide awake.

By the time I fell asleep, Gia already drunk another blood bag while she was playing on her phone. I wonder if our lives would be totally different now that we are mates. Especially since that I'm going to be ruling a kingdom of vampires.

Which also means that I have to tell my parents sometime soon.

Next morning

I woke up to someone running their hand up and down the back of my thigh since I was laying on my stomach. I can feel the tingles every time their hand came in contact with my skin.

I groaned and rolled over onto my side bringing the blanket closer to my face. When the hand came in contact again, I swatted the hand away and hid more under the soft thick blankets.

After the poking and nudging I decided to elbow this person in the face when it was grabbed.

"Easy there, princess" A raspy voice let out that was close to my ear. I groaned loudly and rolled back over onto my stomach and buried myself further into the blankets again.

Her hair had been wavy again which was her natural hair state. Her hair had shined naturally even with the blinds closed tightly and the curtains closed. The blank tank top that she had chose to her wear to bed, had risen up a couple of inches, exposing a faint v line that went further into her pants.

"Like what you see?" She started to play with my hair making me shiver when her fingers brushed across my forehead.

A vampires natural temperature was cold especially in their cold environments. But this time, her hand had some warmth in it when it brushed against my forehead.

"No" I said scrunching up my nose in disgust. I then laughed at how her face fell.

The bedroom door than opened revealing Ashley in track pants and a simple t-shirt.

"Do you need something?" Gia hissed. Ashley stood unfazed but a smirk was growing on her lips.

"Ava's parents know about the situation and you guys being mates" she said bluntly, rocking back and forth on her feet.

"How?" Gia rose up from the bed making me disappointed when she wasn't rubbing my back anymore.

"Oh they called to check on Ava and I told them the whole thing so you're welcome" Ashley shrugged her shoulders and left closing the large black door behind her.

Even though Ashley already talked to my parents they probably would want to talk more about it.

I started to feel nibbling on the base of neck knowing it was Gia trying to find spot to eat.

"Why are you so hungry?" tilting my head to the side giving Gia more room.

"I have needs" she said quickly before pressing her fangs into my neck. I slightly screeched and keeping a tight hold onto her arm.

My body was then filled with pleasure causing me to do a low moan in her ear. I shivered when she pulled out her fangs licking my neck, healing it.

"That was new" her voice was husky as she look down at me.

Her fangs were still showing since she was smiling. I slowly took my finger and running the pad of my finger where the sharp tip was.

I can feel my skin opening revealing blood on the top of my pointing finger. Gia pulled my finger into her mouth and pulled it back out revealing being healed.

"Come on let's eat breakfast" she pulled up with her off the bed and towards the door.

"Well I guess let's get you something to eat since I just ate" she winked and fixed her shirt.

We walked down the grand staircase into the massive gourmet kitchen. Mary was just fixing up making pancakes and eggs when we walked in.

"How was your sleep, Ava?" She walked up to me and kissed both my checks.

"Good" I replied taking a seat next to Gia who was sitting at the island. Spinning side to side in the barstool chair like a child.

"That's good. Usually Gia is a wild sleeper." Mary smiled at Gia's pissed off face. Plates of pancakes,eggs,toast and bacon were placed in front of us.

I toke the regular pancakes off the pile and left the others for Gia. The pancakes that I left had red swirls in them indicating that they blood in it. I watched carefully as Gia took her fork and cut the pancake in a small portion. The blood that was mixed into the pancakes spilled out onto the plate.

"Want some?" Gia directed a fork with a piece towards me as I scooted away, gagging.

She chuckled and ate another piece dipping it in more blood. After a few moments Ashley and Scarlet came down. Scarlet had her hair in a messy bun and wore leggings and tank top with a cardigan.

Ashley still wore track pants and simple tee shirt but this time she had dried drool on the corner of her mouth.

"That's mine" Scarlet roughly took the plate out of Ashley's hands and toke to the island to start eating it. Ashley ended up taking the plain one but had a cup of blood next to her to drink.

"Gia, I need to go" I said pushing my plate away.

"Why" she raised her eyebrow obviously not caring.

"Because I need to go" I reasoned.

Her eyes turned a deep red in anger. "You are m-"

"Gia let the girl leave!" Mary came rushing in and grabbed her ear. Gia did a pitched scream trying to swat her mom away.
