Gia's POV

After many debates with Ava , she finally fell asleep but I was still awake. Not a surprise. I couldn't get out the bed either because Ava was clinging on to me with her arm and legs.

Every time I tried to move away she held on tighter and I didn't want to wake her up at all. Ava can be a crabby in the morning too. It can be a range from complaining everything to sassy comebacks.

Today we are going to the villages to meet people and their families. It was my favorite to meet people and children from all over. My thoughts concluded when I heard a tapping sound on the glass windows.

I used my speed to get Ava off me and walked over to the window. Looking down I saw Marcus hanging onto the ledge with one arm while the other was waving at me. I groaned and opened the window and let him. He climbed in and tripped over the ledge, making him fall and landed with a thud.

"Nice place you got here, you have a spare guest room I could possibly borrow?" He smiled upward at me. He stumbled to pick himself up and brushed off invisible dust. I watched as he took in the room, looking around. He walked towards the fire place and continued. Taking in his surroundings he abruptly stop in front of the bed.

Before I could tell at him not to go on the bed, he jump onto it. Ava screamed from the bed and slapped Marcus across the face. A huge loud slap sounded through the room making me wince, knowing that it hurried him. Marcus held the his red cheek with his mouth open in pure shock.

"Bloddy hell!" He shouted and glared at Ava that was glaring right back at him.

"Get off the bed. Now!" I hissed. Marcus sped over to the couch in the corner of the room and rubbed his cheek in slow circles.

Ava watched Marcus with a look of pure hatred and moved her gaze back at me. "Sorry love, I didn't realized how rude our guest can be" I kissed her cheek.

"Go to sleep for me please" I looked at her as her eyes gained heaviness with sleep.

After placing Ava back into bed, I shifted my attention to the idiot that was nursing his cheek on my couch. I sped over towards him in a swift motion while rising my hand as if I was going to slap him but couldn't help but snicker when he moved back scared that I was going to hit him.

"What do you want Marcus? We were trying to sleep." I sighed and lied down on the couch and placed my feet on Marcus' lap. moving his hands off his cheek, he latched onto my feet and started massaging them.

"I found a witch that can turn on my humanity" he said blunted.

"Marcus you know that witches can't always be trusted" I rubbed my eyes from exhaustion.

Witches can be pretty sketchy, there were some that had no clue what they were doing and there were some that knew everything. Witches have been around for a little bit less then we have. There was certain covens that people knew that were up to no good but some were generally nice. Its rare to see one in person but nothing special either.

"This one is my mate" he smiled like a kid in a candy store. This really toke me back. Most vampires that didn't have their humanity often didn't get their mates till after they turn it back on.

It was considered one of the deadly sins that us vampires follow.

"Where did you meet her?" I sat up and crossed my arms not really believing what he is saying. Marcus has a habit where he would tell you something then add information that was true or not needed.

"Remember when I was in car" I nodded "After that I went into the city to get some food and I ran into her literally. She ended up getting hurt but I healed her. Then our eyes met and that's how we knew" Marcus shrugged.

"What's her name"

"Stacy"

"How long has she been a witch for?"

"16 years"

"We will talk about this tomorrow you can have the guest room in the other wing. Please don't ruin the bed and the furniture like last time." I gave him the key to the room.

"Thanks" he got up and walked towards the door.

"Bye Ava" he waved at Ava, who was playing apparently Candy Crush on my phone.

She waved at him not even looking at him as he left. I sighed and walked over to the bed.

"I thought you fell asleep?" I said and pulled her body closer to mine. She curled up next to me and put her hand under my shirt making me feel, sparks on my skin.

"I did but I woke up again. And you suck at Candy Crush" she poked my stomach and went back to the game on the phone. I kissed her cheek and rolled into my back, closing my eyes.

"My phone better be back on the charger when your done" I yawned.

"Whatever"
