I collapsed on the bed in exhaustion from the fucking work I've been doing today. Treaties are the worst things for a king. I only saw Ava once today but she was still sleeping when I was leaving for work. She was cuddled up in the blankets and I didn't want to bother her.

I was informed she was out in the village with the new driver, Luis. Too bad I was busy but if I wasn't I would have gone with her.

I raised my head when I smelt a strong scent coming out of the bathroom. The door was left wide open as I can see that Ava left her clothes on the floor. I walked closer to the bathroom and scent grew stronger the closer I went.

I strained my ears to see if there was intruder in room but got nothing. The clothes on the floor was left in a pile on the sink where all her brushes were.

The only reason where the was a strong scent coming from from her clothes would mean she is pregnant.

I remember my dad telling me that when Mom was pregnant was Ashley. Then it finally dawned on me.

Ava is pregnant.

Shit I'm not ready for this.

I sped out of the room and towards the guards that were talking at the front entrance.

"I need you to notify Luis to bring Ava back here. Any problems?" I said more harshly then what I intended.

They quickly nodded and went off on the job. My thoughts wondered again. I couldn't see myself being a parent at least not right now, the thought seem like hell to me. Sometimes people are fit to be a parent. But sadly that wasn't me.

Another part of me told that I would do great. That I would spoil him or her to eternity. The thought quickly disappeared from my mind when I noticed a black vehicle pulling up to the castle entrance.

The sun was already setting making the sky turn to bright orange and hints of pink. Luis opened the door for her and helped her out.

I was already waiting on the top of the staircase when they walk into the castle. My ears listened closely to hear four heartbeats.

Yet there was only three people in the main area which what my ears are hearing.

"Hey, is everything okay?" Ava walked over to me which her face filled with concern.

The more closer she got, louder did the fourth heartbeat. My hands were slightly shaking when I placed on her stomach. Rubbing my thumbs on her stomach, I couldn't help but feel the connection already.

"You're pregnant" I said in a low voice.

Her eyes widen by a bit and started to shake her head. "No I'm not"

"I know because there is another heartbeat and it's coming from you. I'm not ready either but I know that we will be great parents. Now is not the best time to have a baby though we will go through it."

Tears brimmed her red eyes and I wiped a tear that has made a trail down her cheek. She let out small breaths till it was at its normal pace.

"I need to go to bed. Can we talk about this later?" she removed my hands from her face and pushed hem away.

I nodded and started to follow her as she was walking up the grand staircase. She suddenly stopped and looked at me.

"By myself" she said and continued up the staircase.

"What are you going to do now? You guys have only been ruling for a good four months and you now have your next King or Queen."

I looked over at Luis with an annoyed look. I hate to say that he had a way with words but sadly those words were right. People would be caught off guard if we already have a child which would be next in line.

"There is only one way to get rid of the baby" he poured himself a glass of whiskey and laid back on the couch that was next to windows.

"That's her choice not mine" I huffed out a breath and sat next to Luis.

"Are you sure it's even her choice? You do have more power over her"

I shook my head. I can't use that card on Ava, I would never use it. It was her choice to keep the baby or not. I run my hands down my face in frustration.

My breath grew rigged as I slammed my fist into the concrete wall making the stain window shatter. The tiny pieces of colorful glass spilled onto the floor while some feel out the window.

"You need to chill. Oh wait, I can't tell you to because you are a women" Luis and crossed his legs.

"I'm not a women anymore"

I'm so sorry I was supposed to update last week but I have the state testing on Monday and Tuesday. Then on Wednesday (which was the day this chapter was supposed to be published) there was a gas leak at my school. So we couldn't get our stuff inside so I didn't have my phone to write.
