MelanieIt's incredible how fast days fly by because it was now the day of the party and I found myself contemplating if I should go all out on my makeup or leave it natural.
"How do beauty gurus do it?!" I groan as I start to line my natural lip line with a red lip liner, but I find myself moving my lips in a funky way to get precise, though I managed.
I kept my eye, face, and brow makeup warm and natural so my red lips would be the star of the show, also to match my dress. I did a few last touch ups to my makeup before spraying on a setting spray as well as some expensive perfume.
I got up to check myself out one last time in my full length body mirror. Honestly, I was really enjoying my appearance tonight. The satin red dress really complemented my hourglass figure and tan skin very well. The slit showed off one of my legs which lead down to showcase my strap on, classic black heels. I had straighten my hair for the occasion and added a dainty diamond necklace around my neck that my dad had gotten me for my eighteenth birthday.
I jumped in place when I heard my phone ding signaling I received text message inside the black clutch bag I picked out. I dug inside it until I found my phone and pulled it and the text was from Harry notifying me that he was waiting outside.
I didn't have Harry's number unknown anymore, I had made the time to save and name his contact simply as 'Harry'. I guess we were somewhat friends now? I'm not even sure what type of relationship it is that we have, but I don't have time to think about it at the moment.
I grab a plain black coat to not distract from my dress, but nice enough to keep me from freezing to death. I grab my clutch bag that contains on my necessities and I make my way downstairs.
My mouth falls agar when the first thing I spot after stepping out my dorm building was the long, black lavish looking limousine. Was this the norm for Harry?
As I approached the car the man who invited me to come along finally stepped out in a gorgeous matching red suit with a floral pattern. I couldn't decide if the suit itself was too over-the-top, but by the way it fit him so well I couldn't really complain.
His signature smirk plays across his petal pink lips as he holds what seems to be a flower boutonnière in one hand whilst the other one holds the door open.
I start giggling as I step closer to him because I feel like I'm a seventeen year old girl going to prom all over again.
"What is this?" I ask referring to the boutonnière. "We're not going to prom." I snicker jokingly.
He smiles. "I realized apart from the color, your dress doesn't really match my suit; so got I you this," he holds up the boutonnière. "Do you mind?" He asks for permission to take my hand, and I nod in approval.
He takes my smaller hand in his larger one and holds out my wrist before strapping the small flower decor around it. It was so pretty.
"You look stunning." He breathes out, eyeing me fully and briefly before his green irises land back on my face.
I bite my lip. "And you look handsome." I politely complement back.
He smirks in what seems to be accomplishment. "I knew you had a thing about me." He quirks a brow up teasingly.
I roll my eyes, yet still keeping a hidden smile in my face. "Boy."
