BIP-BIP-BIP-BIP. I wake up to the sound of my alarm. I sit up and rub my eyes. I hear mum down stairs.

"Honey, I think you'll have to take the kids to school, I'm running late for work" she says. I gasp, today's my first day of school.

"NOOOOO" i growl throwing myself back into my sheets. It feels like a cheesy movie, a girl is moving and she's the new girl at school etc. Even though I really don't feel like going to school, i drag myself out of bed. I pull on white ripped jeans, i throw on a navy blue hoodie and my blue vans. I couldn't careless about my hair so i tie it up into a messy bun.

I make my way down stairs, carrying my bag, full of texts books. I pour myself a bowl of cereal and quickly lap it up.

Liam walks slowly down the stairs with his head hanging.

"What's up frowny face?" i say swallowing my cereal

"Steph broke up with me" he says sitting next to me.

I look at him, then i burst into laughter.

"BAHAHAHHAHAHAHA" i laugh really hard, to the point where i have tears in my eyes.

He looks confused. "why are you laughing?" he looks disgust at me.

"oh, Liam that relationship wasn't even real" i say chuckling. "wait till your 16 buddy" i say patting his shoulder as i stand up to put my bowl in the sink.

"bye kids!" mum calls out, but before she leaves she walks up to me.

"Jessy, try to make friends, okay?" she says, raising her eye brows.

I sigh. "okay mum, bye" i say shaking my head.

She smiles. "bye boys, be good." she says running out the door.

"alright, everyone, in the car." Dad says grabbing his keys.

I grab the money my mum left me and the boys, from the counter and pick up my bag off the floor.

We all jump in the car. 5 minutes later, we arrive at Liam and Noah's school. They both jump out of the car and as soon as they step foot into that school, other 12 and 13 year olds run up to them. I can hear them all asking if they're twins, well duh.

"they'll be making friends fast, won't they?" Dad laughs, driving off to my school, which is right around the corner.

I look straight a head. Yeah, Liam and Noah will making friends easily, their easy to talk to. But I'm scared about whether i'm going to make friends or not. I have to admit, i have the biggest resting bitch face on earth. And the purple hair doesn't help much either. I'm not a bad person, it's just i come across bitchy by the way i look. Inside, i'm a softy.

"hello? Jessy, are you okay?" dad asks. He must of been talking to me, while i was day dreaming.

I blink several times and shake my head. "Arr yeah, i'm fine" i smile.

"well, we're here" dad says looking at me.

I take a deep breath and open the door. "thanks dad, i'll see you this afternoon" i say waving goodbye.

If I make it out alive. I think to myself

"okay, bye Jessy" dad says driving off to work.

I stare at the large school, all the students walking in and out of classrooms.

"okay, you can do this, just try to smile" i pep talk myself.

I try to make my face less 'bitch' and more 'hi let's be friends', I don't know if it's working or not. Either way, I walk straight into the school and into the office which is right next to the gates. There's nice looking lady at the front desk.

"Hi." i say, trying to sound approachable.

The lady looks up at me and smiles. "Hi, you must be Jessy" she says shaking my hand.

"Arr, yeah" i smile. Good start, found a nice teacher.

"Here's your lock for your locker" she says handing me a lock. "this is the combination, and your time table" she hands me a piece of paper with all the classes i'm in.

"so, we have roll call in afternoon, so your first class starts in around 10 minutes" she says glancing at her watch.

"okay" i say looking at my timetable, my first class is English in room D17.

"do you need help finding the rooms?" she asks

"no, i'm okay, i'm fast learner." i smile. "thank you, miss" I say walking out of the office.

On the back of the little slip of paper, where my locker combination is written, it says my locker is number 345. I find locker 320 and just follow all the lockers down a hall till i find mine. I eventually find it and i stuff all the books I don't need for the next 3 periods, only grabbing the ones i need for period 1 and 2.

5 minutes later the bell rings, I still haven't managed to find anyone to talk to yet. It'll take a few days until that'll happen. I find my way around, until i reach D17. I look through the small window on door, a few students are in there already.

This is stupid why am i scared for? I think to myself. It's not like their gonna bite my head off

As soon as i open the door, all the students turn and look at me. Well this is awkward. Trying not to seem bothered by the staring, i take a seat in the front row.

"Nice hair" i hear a voice next to me. I look up. It's a girl with strawberry blonde hair, freckles and bright green eyes.

"Thanks" i smile.

"I'm Julia" she says holding out her hand for me to shake it.

I gab it "Jessy" I smile.

"you new here?" she asks placing her books on the desk next to me.

"yeah" i sigh.

She gives me a slight smile. "It's okay, being new is tough. But you'll survive, don't worry" she laugh.

"ha, thanks" I smile. Julia is the first person to talk to me all morning, let's just hope we become friends.

"Alright, could everyone please sit down and turn to page 56 in your text books." the teacher says coming through the door.

"Now, before we begin, we have a new student, could Jessy please come up" she says.

SHIT, I WASN'T PREPARED FOR THIS. I think to myself. I panic. what if i make a fool of myself?

I take a deep breath and walk up to the front. I plaster a smile on my face.

"Would you like to introduce yourself" the teacher asks

I gulp. "Hi, I'm Jessy, I just moved here from Cape May a week ago. Arr" i say, well at least that's what i think i said.

"well, welcome to Long Valley, Jessy" the teacher says escorting me back to my seat.

Whew, I hope i did okay. I tend to make a fool out of myself on a daily bases, so lets hope this one went smoothy.
