Chapter 14 - Going out with him

"I wanna go skydiving one day" i say stuffing my books in my locker.

"Skydiving? Are you mad?" Grayson says leaning against a locker next to mine.

"What? It'll be fun. What are you scared?" i tease.

"No, it's just i have a fear of DYING" he laughs.

"You won't die, trust me." i say shutting my locker.

I hear a bunch of girls coming our way, it's Julia and the gang. "Babe!" Julia shouts running up to Grayson, tightly hugging him.

"So i was wondering if we can go out for a dinner date tonight, i want mexican" she says running her finger down his arm. She sounds so different now, her voice has changed completely.

"You two are like, the cutest couple in school." Lillian says, ignoring that i'm here as well.

Julia suddenly turns to me, giving me a dirty look. "Why are you talking to her?" she says looking me up and down.

I look at Grayson, he has anger in his eyes. His jaw clenches. "Actually, we were just talking about you" he says.

"Oh really?" she says crossing her arms at me. "And what were you talking about?" she asks me.

I smirk. "Oh, i don't know, why don't you ask Grayson" i say.

"Grayson" she says turning to him.

His eyes were squinting straight at her. No one speaks for a while. "Baby, what's wrong?" she asks him, rubbing her hand up and down his forearm.

He flinches, which makes her hand fall off his arm. She looks confused.

"Don't baby me" he say, he's about to pop.

"What is going on Grayson?" she asks.

"What's going on? What's going on!? You can't actually say that right now Julia, i can't believe you!" he shouts, brushing his hair back.

"You think i don't know? I thought you loved me. You know, it's wrong to kiss another guy, especially Cameron!" he snarls.

Julia looks surprised. "Why look so surprised Julia, you're the one who did it" i say. "What? I though he wasn't special" i say, glaring at her.

Grayson's eyes widen.

Julia glares back at me. "You have nothing to with this conversation right now, so you better leave" she says, shoving me into the lockers.

Grayson steps in front of me before Julia could hurt me. "Don't touch her" he snarls.

"Get out of my way Grayson" she says, pushing him to the side. She raises a hand and before i knew it, Grayson steps in again and grabs her, by the wrists.

"You listen here Julia, Jess has been the only one who's helped me with this stupid situation. Stay away from her and me." he says, yanking her away from me.

Julia looks at him. "Grayson i'm sorry, i really do love you, it was just one time." she says all at once.

"One time? It's been going on for weeks!" he yells. "Julia, we're over" he says throwing her hands away from him.

Julia is in utter shock. "So we're done? Over some, some stupid inconsiderate, little shit" she says, pointing at me.

"Julia, it wasn't her fault! She didn't do anything, if anything, she helped" He shouts. "It was your fault" he whispers. He grabs my hand and pulls me to the other side of the hall.

"Ugh, i don't need you, in fact, i don't need anyone. I've got myself" she shouts as we both fast walk down the hall.

Before we turn a corner, i turn around. I show her my middle finger while mouthing "Fuck you".
