I wake up to the sound of the kettle. It's saturday morning. I jump out of bed and throw over my robe, sliding on my slippers. I run down to stairs and jump on the couch.
"Morning" mum calls from the kitchen.
"Morning" i say switching on the tv. It turns on to the weather channel. It's going to be rainy today.
"Ahhh" i groan. My friends and I were all going down to the beach. I guess there's a change of plans.
My phone buzzes.

Julia: should we postpone it?

Why is Julia being such a bitch, she doesn't decide everything. Julia needs to get her life together.
I look at the time. I woke up later than usual, it's 12.
"Mum, me and a couple other friends are going to the mall to watch a movie" i call out.
"Okay, but be careful" she says.
I run back upstairs to get dressed. I slide into some black knee cut jeans, a maroon crop top and white converse. I tie my hair up half up half down, in a bun. I put on a little bit of makeup, with a dark purple lip.
I look at the time, i have around half an hour to get there.
"Mum, i'm taking the car" i say grabbing the keys.
I kiss her on the cheek and run outside. The cold immediately bites me. I jump into my mum white range rover. With the amount of rain today, i'm pretty sure the car will be brown by the time i get back. I turn up the heat in the car and blast Big Rings by Drake.
I facetime Adriana and Brooke on the way, they laugh at me cause at one point, i start to sing really loudly to an old lady beside me.
I drive into to the mall, parking it in the parking lot. I walk into the building and the warm air blows in my face, warming up my ice cold nose.
"BOO" someone shouts, squeezing my sides.
"AHH" i scream, leaping in the air.
"Ethan don't do that!" i say punching his stomach.
