I was lying in my bed just staring at my ceiling when I heard footsteps coming closer. Then someone knocked on my door. "Come in." I mumbled and Derek walked in, "Hey. We're going to try something with Isaac and you need to watch and learn so get dressed and come downstairs." He said before closing the door behind him and walking downstairs again. I groaned but got up to change. I quickly did my hair and took my heart shaped pin but then I noticed that I couldn't do it on my own. I sighed and held the two parts of hair together with my hands. "Derek!" I called and seconds later I could here him coming up the stairs and opening my door. "Yeah?" He asked so I sheepishly grinned at him before handing him my pin. "Do you mind sticking that in. But so that the heart is the right way round." I begged and Derek just stared at the small pin in his large hands before sighing and walking behind me.

After that he followed me downstairs where Isaac was sitting. I smiled and gave him a half hug. Derek then started explaining what was going to happen and my jaw dropped.

"You know, I'm starting not to like this idea. Sounds kinda dangerous. You know what? I definitely don't like this idea, and I definitely don't like him." Isaac started panicking but Derek shook it off. "You'll be fine." He muttered and I crossed my arms. "Does it have to be Peter?" I asked. "He knows how to do it. I don't. Be more dangerous if I tried doing it myself." Derek didn't care on bit. "You know Scott doesn't trust him, right? You know, personally, I'd... well, I'd trust Scott." Isaac confessed so Derek looked up at Isaac. "Do you trust me?" He asked. "Yeah. I still don't like him." Isaac said after hesitating. "Nobody likes him." I huffed.

"F.Y.I., yes, coming back from the dead has left my abilities somewhat impaired, but the hearing still works. So I hope you're comfortable saying whatever it is that you're feeling straight to my face." Peter walked towards us. "We don't like you. Now shut up and help us." Derek retorted coldly. "Fair enough. Relax. I'll get more out of you if you're calm." Peter told Isaac before sitting him down on a chair.

"How do you know how to do this, again?" I cautiously questioned Peter. "It's an ancient ritual used mostly by alphas, since it's a skill that requires quite a bit of practice. One slip, and you could paralyze someone. Or kill them." My breath hitched along with Isaac's as I gave Derek a look "You... You've had a lot of practice, though, right?" Isaac breathed out, "Well, I've never paralyzed anyone." Peter smirked  before bringing his claws out. "Wait, does that mean that you-" Isaac was interrupted when Peter stuck his claws into the back of his neck. I covered my mouth with my hand to prevent myself from making any noises. Derek smelt my nervousness and tugged on my hand so I moved closer to him, he put his hand on my shoulder as I leaned my back against his chest. "Wait, I see them." Peter mumbled and Derek squeezed my shoulder before asking, "What'd you see?". Peter pulled his hand out and was breathing heavily, scaring me.

"It was confusing. Um, im... images. Vague shapes." He panted. "But you saw something." Derek assured. "Isaac found them." Peter declared. "Erica and Boyd?" I asked Peter. "I barely saw them. I mean, glimpses." He answered. "But you did see them." Derek asked, slowly getting annoyed.

"And worse." Peter nodded as my heart beat quickend. "Deucalion." Derek stated. "He was talking to them. Something about time running out." Peter nodded. "What does it mean?" Isaac asked. "He's gonna kill them." Derek stated and I suddenly felt very angry towards Derek. "No, no, no, no, no, he didn't say that. He did make them a promise that by the full moon that they'd both be dead." Peter shook his head frantically as I moved away from Derek.
"The next full moon?" I asked and Peter nodded. "Tomorrow night." He replied. I whimpered and hugged myself.

I checked my phone after following Isaac up to my room. "Stiles wants to meet us in the school. You coming?" I asked and Isaac nodded so we walked down the spiral stairs and Derek was on the phone as well. "Yeah okay. We're coming." Derek hung up grabbed his key and moved his head as a signal for us to follow him. "To the school?" I asked and he simply nodded before getting into his car. I followed and sat in the back whilst Isaac was seated in the front. We walked into the locker rooms to find Stiles, Allison, Scott and Lydia talking. "Why are we here?" Derek asked, leaning against a locker as I shoved my hands into the pockets of my pink hoodie.
