I slowly got out of Stiles bed and walked into his bedroom to get changed. Stiles was downstairs with his father. I pulled my shorts up and closed my belt before pulling my tank and jumper on. I redid my nails before doing my eyelashes and hair. I put my hair into a ponytail and walked down the stairs to find Stiles with his car keys in his hands. "We need to go." He grabbed my arm to the Jeep and drove to Derek's loft.

Cora told us about when Peter and Derek were once nearly caught by the argents and then hid in the root cellar.

"They were there for two days, waiting, hiding. That's what we're taught to do when the hunters find us... hide and heal." Cora muttered, staring out of the window, into the rain.

"Okay, so is two days standard, then, or are we thinking Derek's on, like, some extended getaway?" Stiles asked and I hugged myself, I really want Derek to come back. "Why do you care?" Cora spat.

"Why do I care? Let's see... because over the last few weeks, my best friend's tried to kill himself. His boss nearly got ritually sacrificed. A girl that I've known since I was three was ritually sacrificed. Boyd was killed by alphas. I... do you want me to keep going? 'Cause I can, all right? For, like, an hour." Stiles sighed, losing his patience with Cora.

"Stiles.." I whispered and he turned around and nodded. "I am going to go and look for Derek." I stated. Stiles face fell and Cora snorted. "You want to look for Derek? Good luck with that honey." Cora spat.

"She can do it." I looked up to find Peter walking down the stairs. "Lucia and Derek have a special bond. And there are only two people who know why." Peter crossed his arms and leaned against a pole.

"Who?" I asked, shoving my hands in my pockets, "Derek and your brother Jack. They have history..." Peter trailed off and my face fell. "They know each other?" I asked and Peter just looked at me. "Is that where Derek is right now? With Jack?" I asked, feeling Stiles move to my side. "Peter?" I stepped closer but Stiles wrapped his hand around my upper arm. "Don't trust him." Stiles whispered and I glanced behind me to look at my worried cousin.

Peter sighed and tilted his head towards the main door, "Go and get yourself some help and look for Derek." Peter demanded so I got my phone out and dialed Scotts number whilst Stiles spoke to Cora.

"Hi. Is everything okay?" Scott answered and I took a deep breath.

"Scott?" I whispered.

"Lucia what's wrong?" I could hear Scott moving around and his voice showed that he was worried.

"Derek and Jack know each other. At least that's what Peter told me and Derek's gone." I muttered. There was silence for a while, "Meet me outside Derek's place." Scott hung up and so I put my phone back into my pocket.

"I'm going to meet Scott. I'll text you if anything happens okay." Stiles nodded so I kissed his cheek and ran down all the steps to meet up with Scott, my heart was thumping. I was happy to be able to be alone with Scott but I was also incredibly worried about Derek knowing my brother.

I waited for about 5 minutes and then I could hear his motorcycle stopping behind me. I spun around and smiled. Scott got off his motorcycle and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Are you okay?" He asked me, placing his helmet on his bikes saddle. I nodded but felt a lump forming in my throat so I looked away. Before I could even process what was happening I was wrapped up in Scotts arms. "You're not okay. I can smell it. What's wrong?" Scott stroked my hair and pulled away, his hands resting on my waistline.

"Really Scott? How can you ask what's wrong? I think asking what's right would be a lot easier. My brother tried killing me. Derek is gone. He just disappeared. My brother and Derek know each other. My family is dead. We might all die. There is an alpha pack after you and Derek. I don't know if I can trust Peter. Stiles and the sheriff are completely overwhelmed." I ended up sobbing.
