The Emo Quartet High School AU

Josh's POV

***trigger warning- panic attack***

Tyler and I walk out of the school building and head to the oval to eat.

All of a sudden I feel my heart beat get faster and my hands start to shake. I curse under my breath, why now!? My throat starts to tighten and my breath gets faster and shallow.

"Josh? Are you okay?" Tyler says and I realize I stopped walking. I can't speak so I shake my head no. He runs up to me and puts his hand on my shoulder and my breathing gets quicker."It's okay Josh. breath, ready, In" he breaths in deeply "and out" he says while exhaling, he does this a couple of times before I can breath semi normal.

"Okay, feel better?" Tyler asks me. I nod quickly, my eyes tear up from embarrassment, before I say anything he pulls me into a hug and I sob into his shoulder for the second time today. He rubs his hand in circles on my back until I pull away. "Thanks Tyler, let's find the boys" I say and he nods "I'm here for you Josh, remember that" he says and I smile. "Right back at ya, Ty" I say and he smiles back.

We sit down with the boys and I see Tyler tense, I see him looking at Patrick and Pete. "Hey boys! Josh you okay?" Brendon asks. I nod and whisper into Ty's ear "don't worry, they're nice" I say, he nods his head and starts to relax a bit.

Frank snaps his fingers "how rude of me! Tyler this is Pete and Patrick, they are head over heels for each other but just can't admit it" he says, Pete winks and Patrick blushes. Tyler nods giggling "nice to meet you guys" he says happily.

"So Ty, Gee, How do guys like your new hell?" Frank asks the boys.
"So far not so bad Frankie, what 'bout you Tyler?" Gerard says.

Ty smiles "well, it's better then my old school. And I met you guys so, pretty good!" He says.

"Yo brendon! Come play" some jock says as he throws Brendon a football. "Yeah boi! See ya guys soon" he says and runs off.

We all laugh at his stupidity. "So, if you don't mind me asking, why did you boys move?" Pete asks.

Gerard looks at Ty and puts his hand on his shoulder. I feel jelious for some reason. "I moved because my mum was sick of me getting suspended for 'being disrespectful' and it was either this or homeschool" Gerard says as if he rehearsed it.

"Well I moved because my parents split up and I live with my mum, I also had some hard times at my old school because of bullying" Ty says emotionless. I pull him into a side hug and the boys 'aww' making us blush.

"Oh come on Jishwa ask him out already!" Pete says making us blush even more, I hear Tyler giggle and I smile. "Alright. Ty, wanna be my boyfriend?" I say straight up. Pete's jaw drops and I laugh. "It would be my pleasure Jish" Ty replys and Patricks jaw drops too.

"Oh come on! What are we 12? Kiss him!" Frank says and Gerard falls on the floor with laughter.

I look at Tyler, his eyes sparkling. I gently lift up his chin and kiss him on the lips quickly. We hear slow claps from the boys and we laugh.

"What are you guys? A bunch of 13 year old girls?" Andy says as he runs up to us and sits in between Gee and I. We all just shrug giggling.

"Hi, I'm Andy. You must be Tyler and Gerard" Andy says shaking Gees hand Tyler just smiles and nods.

Brendon runs back sweating and skids when he lands. "Sorry, the boys wanted me" he says.

"There you guys are! We were looking for you guys everywhere!" I hear and turn my head to see Ryan and Mikey walking up to us and sit next to Brendon. Ryan pulls him into a kiss and puts his hand around his shoulder. "So I'm guessing this is Ryan?" Gerard says pointing at Ryan. Brendon nods, "and this is Mikey" Brendon says pointing at Mikey.

Gerard giggles, "I know, he's my brother!" He says and everyone looks at Mikey amd he nods.

"I knew that!... I was telling Ty" Brendon says, We all laugh.

The bell goes and we all sigh. "So what class do you have Ty?" I ask. he shrugs and looks at his timetable and sighs "Math with Miss Ethan" he says. Patrick raises his hand "you're with me and Frank" he says happily, "yeah, don't worry Miss Ethan's really nice" Frank says and Ty smiles.

"well looks like you're in good hands Ty, Meet you guys here next break. Cya" I say kissing Ty on the cheek and he blushes. I walk off to my next class.
