Josh kisses Tyler on the cheek and walks away to his next class. I look at Gee and see he's already looking at me. He turns away blushing, Aww he's cute!
"what class do you have Gee?" I ask him. He pulls out his timetable and looks up. "English with Miss Clare" He says. "oh, you're with Josh. its the third room on your left" I say and he smiles. "okay, thanks, cya next break" he says and walks off.
Ryan and Pete have science together and Mikey has art by himself.
"Alright, let's go!" I say to Patrick and Ty. They both nod and follow behind me.
We walk into the classroom and Miss isn't there, as usual, she's always late. The boys and I sit at the back and start talking.
"So do you guys wanna play 21 question?" Patrick asks. Tyler and I nod. "Yeah, we can get to know each other better, mostly Ty cuz I know you pretty well Patrick. Who wants to go first?" I say. Patrick raise his hand, "I guess I'll go. Tyler, whats your favorite color?" Patrick asks.
Tyler thinks for a few seconds "probably Black, Red or Blue" he says.
Patrick nods, "Same as like, everyone in our group" he says while laughing. Tyler smiles, "Um, Frank, do you like music?" He says and Patrick laughs.
I smile widely "I love music, I play bass!" I say, "what about you?" I ask looking at Ty and Patrick.
"Oh I love it, I write and play Piano and ukulele, Do you play Patrick?" Tyler says. Patrick nods "I sing and play Guitar, and I kinda play Drums" Just as he says that the teacher walks in.
"okay class, I apologize for being late but let's get on with the lesson" Miss says, smiling and sitting at her desk.
"So today we are mostly doing a review of everything you have learnt over the years....Ashley can you hand these out" Miss says.
Ashley stands up and walks over to the teacher, taking the pile of papers out of her hands and placing a peice of paper on every desk.
He stops Tyler and looks at him "You're new?" Ashley says and Ty nod. He smiles and holds his hand out to shake, Tyler shake and smile "Yeah, I'm Tyler. Nice to meet you" he says.
Ash moves on to me and puts the paper on my desk "Where we're you guys at break? CC, Jake, Jinxx and I were looking everywhere for you!" He says to Patrick and I.
"We were at the oval. We will be there next break as well" Patrick says. Miss clears her throat "after your little gossip session please take a seat Ashley" The teacher says sassily, making the class laugh.
Ash blushes and sits down.
We all work on our worksheet for half a hour until we hear a beep on the speakers. "Can Tyler Joesph please come to the office with his bag. Can Tyler Joesph please come to the office with his bag" The office lady says.
I look over at Tyler and my heart sinks at the expression on his face. His eyes have lost all light and his face is pale.
He starts packing up and I raise my hand "Miss, can I show him" I say and the teacher sighs and nods her head.
I stand up and lead him down the hall. "Do you know whats going on?" I ask him, putting my hand on his shoulder, calming him.
He nods, "My parents are still arguing on who keeps me, so I'm guessing we are going to court" He says. I look at him symapethicley.
"It's going to be okay Tyler" I say and he shakes his head. "No, you don't get it. I'm terrified of my dad, the things he's said to me and mum. I just can't" he says shaking. This time I'm not sure what to say....
We arive at the office and a we're greated by a tall man with sunglasses on. He smiles and his teeth are moldy yellow. Tyler stiffens beside me.
"Hello son, I see you've made a friend. What's your name?" Tylers Dad says, I try not to cringe as his alcoholic breath. "Hi sir, I'm Frank" I say and he smiles again and grabs Tylers hand making Ty jump a bit. "Well it was a pleasure to meet you Frank, but Tyler and I must be going" he says and they both walk out.
I sigh and go back to class.

I walk back into the classroom and sit down. Patrick leans over "is Ty okay?" He asks and I shrug. "I don't know man, his dad stunk of alcohol" I say, worry clearly in my voice.
He nods and we both contuine with our work.
