Chapter 16

Kim dresses me carefully the next morning. In green Hollister shorts and an American Eagle tank. she laces up the combat boots before putting my hair into a messy bun.  

I get into Bella's truck, not hurting. Carlisle is taking my cast off today. I'm glad I'm a wolf. Bella parks at the Cullen's mansion and we walk inside.

Carlisle brings me straight upstairs. He cuts the cast off and I stretch out. He laughs as we go back downstairs. Rosalie and Alice hug me. They are pretty, as usual.

"Ready for your tour?" Rosalie asks. "Bella will be too busy with Edward, so Alice and i will be your tour guides."

I nod in approval. I like them better than the human and they are vampires. I walk out with the two and they show me around. Everybody is wearing shorts but the sun isn't out. Which is probably a good thing because two vampires are showing me around the town.

"This town is always so gloomy, while La Push is sunny." Alice says. "That's why we chose here when we signed the treaty."

"Understood." I reply simply.

They show me the local diner and they buy me some breakfast. I thank them and I see Charlie. I sit with him and he greets all us girls. We talk until I finish my food. I follow them outside and they show me some more of the town.

We meet back at their house with Bella. She smiles at the smile on my face. I hug the girls, thank then, then I climb into Bella's truck. I fasten my seatbelt right as the revs the engine. Edward is on the balcony with a disapproving look. I take it he doesn't like when she does that. Us immortals do have sensitive hearing, hurts my ears too.

Paul is walking inside with Rachel when Bella pulls up. Jacob is sitting on the hood of his Rabbit, waiting for me. I hug Jacob and Bella leaves. He sighs in content and we walk inside.

Sam greets me and I tell them that Rosalie and Alice were my tour guides because Bella was too busy with Edward. Everybody expected that, plus me.

I sit on the love seat next to Jacob, I snuggle against him as I stare at Paul and Rachel. Jacob reassures me it's okay, that Paul will always be in love with me. Paul smiles weakly when he hears Jacob say that.

I kiss Jacob in the lips, catching him by surprise. I pull away before he could respond.

"What was that for?" He asks, his cheeks dark red.

"Wanted to kiss you." I shrug.

He kisses me then pulls away. I smile and I snuggle against his side. Jacob has a smug look as Paul glares secretly at him. I smirk and I ask Jacob to shower with me. Sam bites his lip to keep from laughing at Jacob's redness and Paula tension.

"Yeah, let's go." Jacob exclaims too happily.

I burst out laughing as we walk to the bathroom. We take our clothes off and let me tell you, Jacob is one built guy. I kiss him hungrily when we get under the water. He pushes me against the shower wall as the water rolls down his back.

He lifts me up and he kisses on my neck. I grin Jacob's shoulders as he enters me. I gasp and he keeps going. He pulls out and ejaculates into the tub. We are panting the rest of the shower.

We exit the bathroom, Jacob not so awkward anymore. We are holding hands as we sit across from my imprint and his girlfriend. Sam couldn't contain his laughter anymore.

"Jacob, you got man." Quil high fives him.

"That's for kids, Quil." Jacob mutters.

I pat his head. "I think sex was good for you."

He blushes. "I had sex before."

"Yeah, with Katie, took the poor girls virginity an never spoke to her." I smack his head. "You know she came to me because I'm her cousin? My dad is her uncle."

Jacob nods and he sighs. I smirk and I sit back. Paul has a pissed look on his face. I whisper to Rachel that sex may make him happier.

"Thanks, Layla." Rachel smiles. "Come on, Paul."

I scowl when he declines. Rachel looks at me for help.

"Paul, I know you like sex." I groan. "Go with Rachel, your girlfriend."

He stares at me before looking at Rachel, who is thanking me with her eyes. He sighs before agreeing. I nod at Rachel and I sit back.

Paul's name flashes on my cell phone screen when my phone rings.

"Hellos?" I answer they phone, laughing at Jared who is running around in his unicorn boxers. I'm at his house with him and Kim.

"Hi, it's Rachel." A feminine voice comes through the speaker. "I know you and Paul are each others imprints. If you ever want him back, just tell me. Okay?"

I make a confused face. Realizing she can't see me I speak. "What do you mean?"

She sighs. "Paul told me you were his imprint." She begins. "He said you imprinted on him?"

"I did, but an imprint can mean a best friend, brother / sister, or lovers, or just a protector." I explain to her.

Jared gives me a confused look. I mouth 'Rachel' and he nods.

Rachel is silent for a moment. "I know that, he told me. But, if you want him, tell me."

I sigh. "I'm always gonna want him, but he is with you. I'll tell you when I dump your brother; okay?"

Jared smirks at me and Kim giggles at me saying this. They are happy I may be getting back with Paul sooner than later.

"Okay, please do." She squeals. "I kind of think Embry imprinted on me."

I gasp. "Embry? Are you sure he did?"

Jared gives me a wired look and I wave him off. I'll tell him later.

"That's what he told me." She says simply.

"Well, Rach, I'm tired." I mumble, yawning. "I'll talk to tomorrow if you're at Sam's."

I am staying over here tonight. I tell Jared and Kim that Embry imprinted on Rachel; so she may my be with Paul much longer. I go to the guest room and I change into some pajamas I brought with me. I climb into the bed an I close my eyes. I soon drift off to sleep.
