Tenth Poem: Alone

Alone

That's all I will be

Surrounded by darkness

Surrounded in pain

My heart

Can't take any more

You pull me up

Just to push me down

I'll always be Alone

Why even bother?

When no one cares

Why even try?

To get up on my own

Dust on my clothes

And Dirt on my face

My heart is bruised as can be

I give it my all

Just to get kicked in the chest

Pain is all I will ever feel

Why even bother to try

All of my friends

I will never meet

They will remain

A mystery

Oh

I still can't breathe

I fell down this cliff of forgiveness

And chances

No one will be there to catch

I will be alone

Falling forever

They don't care

They say they will be there

When I need be

But guess who is still alone

When I need someone

to hold

Someone

to Care

They chose their side in this

And I am

And forever will be

On my own

Alone
