Fifty-Third Poem: So Damn Funny

Tired of being pushed around

Gotta pick myself up

Off the ground

I hate being hated on

It makes me so hateful

I guess it's a circle

The bullied become the bully

When they just give up

They get so tired

Can't pick himself up

So they fall deeper and deeper

In this stupid rut

All these people around me

Think it is so damn funny

To laugh at the misfortune

To laugh and say

I wanna kill myself

They don't care who sees

They just want to believe

That it is so damn funny

When someone is done with life

I hate the people

Who discourage the others

Say "I have it harder than you"

Honey,

You don't know what I been through

So go ahead and make fun of me

Then turn around and complain that your life is boring

I guess you can say

I'm the light of your life

Pushing me around

Is the highlight

I walk around through life

I am anti-this anti-that

But then I see someone getting pushed around

I stay silent and look away

Why am I so damn clumsy

So Shy

I can't stand up for what is right
