Chapter 29: SANDWHICHES!

A/n- MY GOD. How long has it been? To be fair I'm lazy and my birthday was this week, so yeah... Thanks so much for 826reads! Enjoy!

Chapter 29

Audrey's p.o.v.:

Zayn led me into a beautiful restaurant. Except no one else was there... The entire place was lit by candles hanging in chandeliers or mounts on the wall. It was absolutely gorgeous. Rose petals were scattered over the floors and empty tables. We reached the porch which was cobblestone paved and lined with a wrought iron fence. Candles framed the area and the sunset was directly in our view. It was perfect. The colors of the sun blended so well with the set up of the restaurant. Pinks, oranges, yellows, purples and blues all blended perfectly in the clouds. The scent of lavender was in the air. This was paradise. The view was completed with a pier and mini beach sparkling in the light. Zayn pulled out a chair for me with a dazzling smile.

"Do you like it?" He asked softly.

"I love it..." I dreamily responded.

Elle's p.o.v.:

I flipped aimlessly through the movies.

"Nope...

Nope...

Nope...

Negatory ...

Definitely not...

Nerp...

Nero...

LOL. Nope..." I said lazily as each movie I examined was just as un appealing as the last.

Then a movie popped up on the screen.

"YES! Wouldn't ya say?" I said talking to my pillow. As usual my pillow was pretty in responsive.

"No answer means ye-es!" I sing-songed as I clicked on it and waited for it to load.

I adore the movie Frozen! It's adorable. Olaf is my spirit animal... Or spirit snowman... Close enough. I hugged my superman pillow as the movie started. I turned the volume WAY up. Hey, I WAS home alone. Why not enjoy myself?

"SANDWHICHES!" A voice yelled from behind me.

"THATS WHAT I WAS GONNA SAY!" I yelled back, grinning.

I was hugged and kissed on the forehead from behind.

"Louis!" I smiled. He jumped over the back of the couch to sit next to me and we both sang along.

"Our mental synchronization can have but one explanation!"

"You!"

"And I"

"We're both meant to be!"

We kept getting words wrong and just ended up laughing together.

"So is this what you do when I'm not around?" He asked.

"Whale after the party I had, I needed something to occupy my mind!" I said while bopping him on the nose.

"Don't start with me" he grinned bopping me right back.

"So what was the giant date for?" I asked.

He laughed, "You'll find out soon, don't worry... Oh I love this part!" He pointed at the t.v.

I rolled my eyes and continued to watch the movie.

The movie finished and Louis had fallen asleep, with his head in my lap. My phone went off in my pocket. Ugh. Whaddaya want....

I went on a rescue mission to recover my phone out of my pocket without getting up, moving to much, removing any blankets and or pillows, and without disturbing Louis.

HA! Success!

"What's up buttercup?" I asked casually into the phone. I always answer the phone in odd ways.

Basically all I heard from the other line was "AHFKGKDHFHKDLLFJFN!" And some sobbing... I checked the caller I.D. It was Audrey.

"Calm down! What happened?" I asked concerned. Then she started laughing. Laugh-sobbing.

"IM ENGAGED! IM ENGAGED! ZAYN PROPOSED! IM GETTING MARRIED!" She yelled out of pure joy.

"AHHH OMG!" I started screaming with her I've rather phone. "We have to celebrate!!"

"Yeah! We see you later! We're not finished with our evening! I'm gonna tell you ALL the details later, don't worry!"

"Ok have fun!"

I'm so happy for Audrey! That's why Zayn and Louis were acting so weird! Louis was HELPING! DUH! I'm stupid! Audrey is gotta be over the moon!

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Muttered a very sleepy and grumpy Louis.

"AUDREY'S ENGAGED!" I yelled.

"Yeah I know, but do you have to jump on top of me?" He whispered, doubled over and wincing.

"Whoopsa daisies! Sorry!"

He grumbled and went back to sleep.

I can't believe Audrey's engaged! Wow... Questions kept racing through my mind....

When's the wedding?

Who's gonna be her maid of honor?

Who's gonna be her brides maids?

Where's the wedding?

The one really itching at me was:

Would I ever get engaged?...

Hey... Just a thought... Who doesn't wonder that... Especially when one of your best friends is getting married?
