Recap…
About half an hour later we stopped in front of a paddock of grass. I had no idea where we were at all. Once again he jumped out of the driver’s seat just to run around and open the door for me. I got out and he grabbed my hand. “Close your eyes” he said soothingly. I did what he said and we started walking. After what felt like forever he stopped me and wrapped his arm around my waist. “Open your eyes” he whispered in my ear, and I did. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life and I just couldn’t believe it. I instantly jumped into his arms and tears started to stream down my face of happiness.
He did this all for me.
Chapter 5
I couldn’t stop staring at it. It was seriously the most amazing thing I have ever laid eyes on. There was a full moon with the stars shining completely, then a beautiful string quartet playing my favorite songs. But what took me the most was the amazing table he had set out in the middle.
There were all my favorite snacks and dishes laid out on the table so neatly that I thought I was going to burst into happy tears. Chocolate cupcakes and cheese puffs all the way to Garlic Chicken Pasta. How the hell did he organize all this without me noticing?
He is just so damn sweet! I jump into his arms again thanking him over and over.
“You are so amazing” I said honestly looking over at the string quartet that was playing so beautifully. This must have cost him a fortune!
“I told you it’s good to wait for surprises” he teased nudging me softly.
I laughed unwrapping myself from him and walking over to the table.
I didn’t know where to start. There were so many amazing things here that I loved.
Just then he grabs a big picnic blanket and unfolds it placing it down on the soft grass.
I grab all the bowls of food that I wanted the most and took them down to the picnic blankett. He sits down next to me wrapping his arm around my neck softly.
Everything just felt so right. He was treating me so perfectly, and even though he was a massive player, I can now start to imagine us together.
After we finish eating, he pulls me up and says he wants to take me somewhere else. Surely he can’t be serious could he? He’s already done enough, this was just too much.
“Are you being serious? You’ve already made me one happy girl” I smiled snuggling into him because it was starting to get really cold.
He pulls the hoodie off that he was currently wearing and puts it on me. I look down and it was like a dress on me, at least it was warm though.
“There’s no harm in doing a little more is there” he smiled confidently.
Suddenly he swung his arm over at one of the string quartet players and they got up and started following us with a violin in his hand.
Where on Earth was he taking me?
We walked through a bushy area and could hardly see anything.
Suddenly I started to hear the sound of water dropping rapidly and I seriously had no idea where we were going.
I started to see a light shining through the trees and it was beautiful.
We walked through all the bushes and it was so amazing.
There was a huge waterfall with lights at the bottom where the water was dropping, so it made the water look bright blue. And it was just so pretty.
