Ok so point of view. Let's talk about it yo!

There are different ways a writer can convey the story. Each way reveals information differently, and is a huge factor in the book!

First Person: it is a point of view that is directly from the person. Uses pronouns "I, me, we," and so forth. THE NARRATOR IS ONE OF THE CHARACTERS IN THE STORY

Second Person: treats the reader as the main character, uses pronoun "you" quite a bit. NOT VERY COMMON, used in how-to books mostly but if it's your style I'm not gonna cramp it. Cuz it is kinda my style bruh!

Third Person:
THERE ARE TWO KINDS! (2) !!!!
Third Person Omniscient: ok, first off "omniscient" (om-nih-shent) simply means all knowing. Omni-many or all (omnivores eat both plants and animals) and scient means knowledge (SCIENCE YASSS)
Whew! This means the narrator is not a character in the story, but knows all, and so the reader is informed on what the characters feel think and act.
Third Person Limited:
Narrator is not a character in the story, but they only inform the reader on the feelings thoughts and actions of one or so character.

Whatevah ya choose, go for it! But please keep it completely consistent, and remember that sometimes it is best to keep up the mystery! I always get frustrated when I'm reading from one person's view (in first person) and the next chapter the person switches! And all the worries I had about whether the bad boy with the cute butt and the heart of gold really likes the nerd who is tough and salty and also secretly a babe disappear, and the story becomes cliche and bland. Er.

It's also so jarring when the POV keeps switching!

If you really want to reveal information in the person's own perspective be more gentle with the changes!

Stay tuned next time for when we talk about characters! And why mine suck!

>.<

Anyway, y'all are great! ^^
