Ok, pretty similar to "your" vs "you're,"
"Its" is possessive, such as "The giant scratched its bum."
In this sentence, its is used to show possession, in this case, the giant owns his bum. (Lucky devil)
"It's" is a contraction of the words "it" and "is," such as, "The giant frowned because it's so humid out."
Read this sentence again, but replace it's with it is. The sentence will work the same. (!)
Just keep in mind, if you aren't sure, put it is in the sentence, and if it doesn't work its if it does, it's. 😊
