Yesterday, I went to go pick Iris up from Harry's. "Did you have fun yesterday?" I said holding her. "Yea, we roasted marshmallows, and watched movies. Aunty and me went to the mall. Fun Spot is the coolest." She stopped after that when Zayn came out and sat next to me. She looked up and over at him, then to me. He threw is arm over my shoulder. I had forgiven him, Iris on the other hand was iffy. I dropped my head in his chest, to signal Iris. "Daddy," she said waiting for an answer. "Yea, baby." He said. "Can we go.. Uh... go to the... somewhere." She said not knowing what she meant. "Where?" He responded. "Let's see what we can do." He said pulling his phone out looking up activities. "We can go to the fair." He said five minutes later. I looked up at him, "You sure?" I made certain of him. "Yea, you feel like it." I shook my head no. "Aww." He rubbed my head. "Why?" He asked. "My stomach hurts." He moved his hand from my head to my stomach.

Iris got up off the sofa and went into the kitchen. "Baby, what are you doing?" I said meant for Iris. "Getting ready." Zayn shouted from the bedroom. "Not you, Iris." I said clarifying myself. "I'm opening my juice box." I got up immediately, but it was too late. "Oops." She said looking at her shirt, the floor, then to me. "Iris, go to the laundry room and get out those clothes in there. Then go upstairs and change clothes." I said in a louder tone. "Okay." She said. I grabbed paper towels and wiped the floor, then I sprayed Green Works. "Don't step in it." I told Zayn. I stood up, and got his water for him. "Where's Iris? I'm ready." He said chuckling at my hair. When I bent over, my hair got out of place. "You want me to mess up yours?" I laughed. He reached up and pushed a lock of hair behind my ear. He brought my neck and head forward and kissed me. It wasn't a peck, more like multiple kisses at once. We both pealed off of each other. "I'm sorry. Again, for the day before." I looked at him. "It's okay." Instead of gazing in his eyes, I called to see if Iris was ready. "Come on." I shouted to her. "Tammie, what just happened?" I turned away, not knowing. "I love you." I said as Iris tugged him out the door.

I went in our room and Iris's, to get all the dirty clothes. I was rummaging through Zayn's clothes seeing what was dark and light when a note fell out. I threw the rest of the clothes into the wash before reading it. I closed the laundry room door, so there wouldn't be too much noise. I started to read the note, the handwriting was messy, but it wasn't Zayn's. It read: Hello, Tammie. Not sure if you or your husband will get this. I was going to ask you about Iris. You know, if she could

That was all I was able to read before my mom called.

*Phone call with mom*

M: Hey Tam, I won't hold you long. I just wanted to know if you wanted me to take Iris out on a fun day before school starts.

T: Yea, she can come over whatever day you want. Are you going to pick her up?

M: If you want. Papa will probably get her, I have a doctors' appointment, when I'm done though.

T: Was that it?

M: Yea. Did I interrupt you?

T: Yea, a little, nothing big though.

M: Okay, sorry. Love you.

T: Love you, too.

*end of call*

Okay now back to that note.

Hello, Tammie. Not sure if you or your husband will get this. I was going to ask you about Iris. You know, if she could spend some or a little bit more time with me. If not, we could probably take it to the court. I am her biological father. Text me or call once you get this note.

How could Zayn keep this from me? Now Brian wants custody, or some visitation. I don't want Iris to know how she came to this world. And I sure don't want her to know Zayn isn't her father. He can't keep me from the real world, or even what's going on. I took an Aspirin, hoping it would stop my headache and out me to sleep, i haven't gotten a full night sleep, I was still on London time.

*Tammie's Dream* I was in a fimilar place. It was Brian's house. I looked at my surroundings and Zayn was nowhere to be found. Iris was near by because I heard her screaming and crying. "Tammie, listen." He slapped me to knock me back into the world. "Stop, where is she?" I screamed. "Listen, I've had 3 bottles of liquor. Now if you want me to do something you and I will regret you need to hear me." I looked away to still hear where the screaming was coming from. "Iris is fine." I looked at him as if he was stupid. "No, she's not." He shushed me. "Now, I've had it with us going to court, fighting for custody, and me always losing. Not even visitation. It hurts me to know I can't even see my own daughter," at first he was talking then he started to yell. "And I can't. Just like i'm not on anything of hers. I can't even see her at school. They wouldn't let me check her out. I come to your house just to say hi. Halfway across town, for her." I cut him off. "Yes. You should. You should be cut off from her. It may be wrong of me to keep her to myself. But look at how all this happened." I started to cry taking this all in. "Listen." Cut off once again. "No, you listen. Stay away from her. I've gone through pain ever since what happened. Everytime I look at her, I see you." I yelled. "Mommy, Daddy, help!" Iris screamed, I guess she heard me. I ran to see where she was I looked in every room until I saw her in his room watching a bloody movie of someone that looked like me getting shot. She was taped to the bed. I got the tape off the bed first, and then off her. We tried running when he wasn't near. "Just leave her here." He yelled. She started to cry again. "Stop, you see what you're doing?" I shouted. "Just let her stay and i'll bring her back tomorrow." I wouldn't do that to her. He took his hands from behind his back and in one hand a gun. "What are you doing with that?" As he walked closer to me, Iris got farther away. He slammed the door with Iris being on the other side. She beat and kicked the door, still screaming my name. "Mommy, mommy." She cried. He started to shake me. "What will it take you?" He brought the gun closer to my face. He shook me a few times.

"Mommy, Mommy." Iris said. I blinked rapidly and checked my surroundings. I grabbed Iris and held her in a hug. "Can you let go now?" She said, I let go as Zayn walked by, "Zayn, if anything ever comes here for me regarding her, your best bet is to let me have it." He nodded. "Mommy, we fed ducks and I rode my first ferris wheel." She said stuttering a bit. "Please, put my hair up." She said. I took the hair elastic off my wrist and put her hair in a ponytail. She ran off into our room. "Babe, you wanna go out for dinner?" I walked into the room behind her waiting for Zayn to answer. "I was going out with Harry, but if you want I can cancel?" He responded, "No, go ahead we'll just go to Addey's, she wanted to see Iris anyway." I told him. "Oh okay." He used the bathroom. I called Addey to make sure she would be home tonight, and that was a yes. "Iris, i'm challenging you. You must be ready in five minutes." I said. "Okay. Starting now." She ran upstairs and I ran in the room. I brushed my teeth again, then combed my hair, slipped my boots on and waited in the kitchen. Iris came stumbling down the stairs. She snapped her flats and she said, "I'm ready!" I looked at the clock. "Zayn, we're leaving!" I shouted. "Okay, love you bye." He shouted back. "If you come home D-R-U-N-K, you won't be able to come in." I said. He laughed. He must've thought I was joking.
