"Jonathan!!! You forgot my big red brush!" Hayley yelled, "And my gold paint!"
Hayley took a navy blue paint out of her box of paint and angrily jabbed her paint brush in it before swiftly painting on the canvas.
"Why don't you just get it yourself? It's three blocks away!"
"That's the point! It's easier for you to get there because it's near!"
Jonathan groaned which Hayley ignored and continued painting. Then a big red brush was placed on the table beside Hayley.
"Oh there it is, thanks." Hayley said and went back to painting once again.
Jonathan let out a sigh. "Hayley, it has been a week. You can't stay in a hotel for so long. You hate hotels."
"Not when there's a hot piece of ass next room." Hayley turned to Jonathan for a second and winked at him.
"So you're gonna cheat on her? Like she did on you?"
"It was a joke." Hayley sighed and placed down her paintbrush, "I know I can't stay here for long, especially when I lost my job and I'm barely selling anything."
"Money isn't the problem here."
Then there was a soft knock on the door.
"Did you order room service?"
"Something like that."
Hayley's eyes widened. "You didn't."
"You had to face her sooner or later."
"Well I prefer later! Damn it, Jonathan!" Hayley placed her hands on her forehead and paced around the room.
Hayley wasn't ready to face her. Despite being away from her for a long time, it was too soon.
"Don't you dare open that damn door." Hayley threatened Jonathan with a paintbrush.
"Or what? You'll murder me with that paintbrush?" Jonathan said rolling his eyes before making his way to the door.
Hayley's eyes widened and her heart beat faster. Leaving her unfinished painting, she sprinted to the other side of the room to get her sling bag. She was all ready to leave when she froze in her tracks when she saw her standing in the middle of the room.
The two stared at each other, not saying a word. Selena's eyes were filled with guilt, worry and sadness, while Hayley's were filled with hurt, anger and sadness as well.
Jonathan cleared his throat, breaking their gaze on each other.
"Well, I'm gonna leave now. Please try not to kill each other."
"No promises." Hayley angrily mumbled and sent Jonathan a sarcastic smile.
The room was silent once the door was slammed shut. A million thoughts ran through Hayley's mind but thoughts driven by anger are the only ones that were coming out of her mouth.
"What are you doing here?" Hayley snapped at Selena.
"We need to talk." Selena said sternly but Hayley could see it in her eyes that she was trying her best not to break in front of her.
Hayley didn't say anything and simply sat on the couch, while Selena let out a soft sigh and sat on the chair in front of Hayley.
The two lovers didn't always fight. When they do, it's either Hayley was drunk or Hayley was being stubborn. It seemed like Hayley is always the cause of big fights, but this time around, it was the other half who messed things up.
