It has been weeks but it still doesn't feel right. She still couldn't look her in the eyes whenever they are talking. She still doesn't sleep on the bed. Sometimes Selena would get up at night and sleep with her on the couch. The tension between the two is becoming too much and it is becoming unbearable.

"Hey...Sel?"

There was a certain glint in Selena's eyes when she heard Hayley. It has been awhile since she called her using her nickname.

"Yeah?"

"I think I'm ready to talk about it."

"Are you sure?" Hayley nodded in response, before she could even change her mind. "Okay."

Some people were staring and some were murmuring. But they didn't care. Selena didn't care.

There they were, sat in a booth in a restaurant. There weren't many people and they weren't exactly hidden. The two women both ordered milkshakes just so they wouldn't get kicked out. Hayley wanted to talk somewhere they were surrounded by people, so that she couldn't back out and neither of them could cause a scene.

"I'm sorry..."

Hayley stirred the straw in her milkshake and stared at it. She already knew the story, she only had one thing to do.

"I forgive you."

"Really?" Selena asked, surprised by Hayley's response.

"Just, tell me, do you still love me?"

After weeks of ignorance, Hayley finally looks into Selena's eyes, asking a question she never thought she would ask.

"I love you."

Hayley let out a sigh of relief. Selena placed her hand on Hayley's which was casually on the table and smiled at her. "I love you, always."

Hayley sent her a weak smile, making Selena's smile falter.

"Do you, still love me?"

Hayley took sight of their hands together, causing her to smile genuinely.

"I do, I don't think I'll ever stop loving you."

"Baby can't you see? I'm calling, a girl like you should wear a warning." Hayley sang, changing up the lyrics.

"Hey!" They couldn't help but smirk at each other.

It was a sunny day and they decided to go out for a little drive around the city. And as always, they were jamming to songs, both classics and new ones.

"Are you sure that this is okay?" Hayley questioned as Selena adjusted the camera. Selena thought it would have fun to have their carpool karaoke and post it online.

"We'll be fine! We don't even have to post it today. I was thinking of putting out when we tell everyone." Selena explained then placed her hand on Hayley's which was on the gear. Hayley couldn't help but sigh.

I wonder when will that be. Hayley thought. She was about to ask this out loud when Selena interrupted her.

"Ooh here's the chorus! With a taste of your lips I'm on a ride!"

Selena seemed happy and was enjoying her self, so Hayley decided to push her thoughts away and join in.

"I'm addicted to you, don't you know that you're toxic. And I love what you do, don't you know that you're toxic." They sang to each other. Hayley then winked at the camera.

After singing their hearts out with My Heart Will Go On, bopping with That's What I Like and sensually touching their bodies with Drunk In Love, the two lovers decided to end their drive with some McDonald's and one of their songs.

"Before the next one starts, I want to say a few words." Selena said, talking to the camera. Hayley was confused but simply continued driving.

"I've had relationships with people who attempted to use me for money, most of them were for fame and there were the ones for a cover up. To cover up something that wasn't ready for the world and to somehow protect this wonderful woman sitting next to me from all the negativity.

"She never used me for money, neither for fame. She loved me for who I am. She's always there for me especially when I needed her the most."

Hayley was feeling every word she was saying, despite Selena talking to the camera.

"Despite this being one of our songs and her sitting just right next to me, I dedicate this to my wonderful and incredibly gorgeous girlfriend, Hayley Crawford."

Hayley couldn't help but smile at her words. Selena reached forward and played the song. Selena began singing softy, going through the first half of the song. Hayley remained silent and simply listen to her girlfriend's soothing voice.

"But everything means nothing, if I ain't got you, yeah..." Selena smiled and faced Hayley.

Hayley felt nervous. She was a fair singer, not great but not bad. In Hayley's opinion, Selena has a better voice than her, despite having a higher octave. She also never really sang with an audience nor with a camera in front of her, except that one time with Alex but she barely even sang. Usually the two would simply sing with no care in the world whenever they sing this song. But the fact that this could go out for the whole world to see was worrying Hayley and making her overthink it.

Selena noticed this so she placed her hand on hers again and smiled at her encouragingly. Hayley quickly glanced at Selena before focusing on the road and singing. Selena intertwined her fingers with her lover, making Hayley less tense.

They finally got into the last chorus, singing it together. As the song was ending, Hayley pulled over for they were already home.

"If I ain't got you with me baby. So nothing in this whole wide world don't mean a thing, if I ain't got you with me baby."

The two looked into each other's eyes and sang to each other, smiling after singing the last note. Selena leaned in, placing a short but sweet kiss on Hayley's lips.

"I love you."

"I love you."

A/N: hello! finally! i kinda like this chapter...what do you think? i know that the song doesn't really represent nor describe their situation and relationship, i just feel it somehow fits. But as stated, it is only one of their songs. Certainly there are more songs and references to come.

do you think hayley made the right decision forgiving selena?

what will happen next?
