Akh looked ahead, walking through the automatic doors of the coffee shop, my hand still in his soft yet firm grip. We sat opposite each other, nearest to the window.

Tay and Suga decided to sit on the other side, out of the way.

My ears perked at the sound of Akh's voice, familiarly deep as always, making my heart flutter when he spoke.

"Ah, I've heard about this coffee shop from Larry. Visits it frequently, I'd like to add." He smiled, glancing around like it was a palace or something. Well my reaction to a palace was illustrated on his face. He of course may be used to gold and glitter, being the a King.

I giggled, and in a low voice, I said, "Sure. And I can tell you've never seen a coffee shop, "

"Why on earth is it a shop, where there are tables to sit at and beverages. besides 'Coffee' to drink...?" Akh muttered, clearly in deep thought. He coughed, "I cannot simply wait to try it, m'lady,"

Hearing all of this made me giggle but then realise that his way of speech would be a problem and also a giveaway if I introduced him to my parents (Oh so lovingly blind I've become).
Akh sensed I was being too quiet today, so he asked, "What ever is the matter, my princess? Have I made any mistakes here? "

I took a breath, "No, Akh, It isn't your fault, it's just... I'm nervous to introduce you to Mom and Dad, and... " I trailed off, leaving Akh confused.
"If you worry about your mother and father's opinion of our relationship, you shouldn't. Keeping me a secret was already my duty," He smiled a really sad smile, I almost felt like we just finished a break up.

The shop was busy as hell once we drained our cups- Ahk surprisingly finished two. I payed of course and I swept my eyes over the table where Tay and her boyfriend were supposedly. The space was taken up by a electric-blue haired punk with his cheap Dell Laptop. I sighed, she left and now I know she has no time for me.

Akh and I walked back to the museum, as he "needed to rest",
kissing me softly yet quickly, before. I felt guilty but still missed him as he turn back to the mummified corspe he was meant to be.

I finally returned his sad smile, thinking if I deserved a boyfriend as amazing as Akh after all. Well time would tell.

I walked out of the museum, locking it with the spare key Larry had gave me, and walked home alone. "Take care," I whispered in Akhmenrah's direction "Please take care, "
