We'll Love Again, We'll Laugh Again

Wedding Day Part 2

The day of my wedding, not only was Gerard not planning to have a shower until I made him, but he had the bright idea trying to get into some chicks pants before my wedding? God he must be mental.

"Hey there Lyn-Z, haven't seen you around in ages" I said politely. More importantly, I wanted to know why she decided to come today, of all days.

"Mikes! I've missed you guys! I came to say congrats about the wedding. I'm jealous of her, now that you're taken, I'll have to settle for Gerard" She said jokingly.

I looked past her to Gerard, who appeared to be blushing slightly. Wait, Gerard? Blushing? He must actually like her. It's actually pretty cute when I think about it, she'd be really good for him. I could see him being happy with her.

"I've missed you too, we should all have a little jam session soon" I said half hearted. I knew I wouldn't be up to playing after Cassidy dies. But of course, Lynz dosen't know that.

"That's such a good idea Mikey!" She said as she hugged me.

The bus door opened and Cassidy came in with Bob and Frank.

Lyn-Z pulled away as Cassidy looked confusingly between us.

"Cassidy, this is Lindsey Ballato, the bass player for Mindless Self Indulgence. She's here to see me" Gerard said as he awkwardly held his towel tightly around his waist.

"Oh Mikey I love her! She's perfect!" Lyn-Z squealed 

Cassidy had a big smile on her face. 

"Hey Lyn-Z, how you doin' ?" Bob said with a wink.

Oh god Bob, really? Hitting on her, when you know Gerard called dibbs?

She just rolled her eyes, and continued talking to Cassidy. The two of them sat on the couch together. They seemed to get on really well. Gerard seemed pretty annoyed that Lyn-Z was so focused on Cassidy. Yet he refused to go get dressed. I guess he thought he would catch he attention if he wandered around in a towel long enough.

"Did you get a dress?" I asked Frank  

"Oh ... yeah.... about that..... erm....uhh.... no....." He said carefully.

"Did you just say she doesn't have a dress, and the wedding is this afternoon?!" Lyn-Z said

"Yeah, it's not really a big deal. Don't worry about it" Cassidy said awkwardly as she looked at the ground.

And Cassidy was barely finished her sentence when Lyn-Z stood up, ran over to Gerard, kissed him on the cheek, which he was over the moon about, she took Cassidy by the hand, and ran off out the door.

I'm kinda glad Cassidy went with her, cause I mean, Cassidy could use a good girls shopping day. Bob and Frank just don't cut it.

"She kissed me!' Gerard said

"On the cheek bro. She wants me. I can so tell" Bob said as he made a wanna be sexy pose on the couch.

Ray walked into the room from the back of the bus. "Wow Bob, I didn't need to see that" He said
