I took a deep breath as I set my hands on the steering wheel of my car.
After I told Ashley where I was going, I left her house and went to mine to see if my mom was home. She wasn't. I sent her a quick an simple message- not that she cared. She was never home anyways.
I just can't believe I'm meeting Jake. What if we can't even switch the phones? I mean, a bunch of people will surely recognize him.
Focus Allie. Focus. He's just a regular person, just like you...
Except he got 20 million followers on twitter and sold out his whole tour in 30 seconds but other than that he is totally normal.
My heart jumped as I heard my phone go off. I quickly answered it hoping Jake was on the other end.
"Hello?" Oh god, did my voice come out too shaky?
"Allie will you calm down? It sounds like your being tied up on a bridge."
I let of a sigh of relief. It was only Ashley.
"Sorry Ashley. Do you need anything?" I asked, putting my car in reverse as I slowly backed out of my driveway.
"I just wanted to know if you were at the coffee shop yet... I'm guessing not."
I let out a half-hearted laugh. "Im just pulling out of my driveway now."
"You are supposed to be there in 5 minutes! Hurry up!" And with that, she hung up.
I sighed as I placed my phone back in the cup holder and turned onto the highway.
This was gonna be a long night.

I parked my car into a free space and got out. The air was cool with a slight breeze, perfect for an August night.
I locked my car by pushing the button on my keys and threw them in my purse. I patted my hair down to make sure nothing was sticking up and started for the front door.
My palms became sweaty as I neared the doors. What if he thinks I'm annoying? What if he is stuck up? What if-
I managed to let out one strangled shriek as I was pulled back into an alley way.
I couldn't see anything it was so dark, but I could make out two figures both with black hoodies.
I thrashes my arms and feet around trying to make them loosen my grip, but with me being the weakest person on earth I failed miserably.
I heard them trying to tell me to shut up but I didn't care. I needed the cops!
I let out a muffled scream as they tightened my grip on my arms and pushed me to the wall.
After another 10 seconds of me trying to break free one of them let go of me and shone a flashlight on his face.
My eyes widened as I saw Jake Woods staring in front of me.
"Girls scream a lot." He remarked, his smile turning into a smirk.
"What the hell was that for!" I breathed out, thankful that they have let go of me.
The other guy came into the light, and I'm guessing by the looks of him that he is Jake's bodyguard.
That guy sure works out.
"We didn't want to cause a scene in the coffee shop," Jake replied, stuffing his hands into his hoodie's pocket.
I leaned against the wall, trying to get support before I fell over.
"You didn't want to cause a scene? You dragged me into an alley way! I thought you guys were rapists!" I squeaked, my eyes growing wide from anger.
"Calm down, love. We meant we didn't want people realizing it was Jake." The bodyguard replied, standing tall and stiff next to Jake.
"A text would've made that clear." I growled, shooting a glare at Jake.
He just shrugged, clearly amused. "This way I could have talked to you and met you properly without having girls surround me."
I could feel my checks turning a bright red. I ducked my head trying to hide my cheeks that had now turned a firetruck red.
Jake chuckled. "Blush much?"
And yet again, thanks to my cheeks that love to blush, my cheeks turned even a darker red which I didn't think was possible.
Jake's chuckle turned into a doubled over laughter.
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want. I hope it ruins your vocal cords."
Jake immediately stopped laughing. "Oh golly gee, how could I forget?"
I bit my lip with anger, trying to resist my urge from slapping him.
"Oooh someone's mad," Jake said, poking my arm.
I narrowed my eyes at him. "Maybe if you would stop being such a prick I wouldn't be as mad."
Jake's eyes widened. "A girl never actually said that to me."
I think he said that so only he could hear it, but I could make it out.
"What Jake?" I asked, smirking.
He tried to cover it up with a cough. "Nothing. Lets get some coffee." He tightened up the hood of his hoodie and walked away from me.
I followed him laughing as the bodyguard followed behind slowly, trying not to draw any attention.
This is fun.
