"You must be Ms.Reyes"The teacher, Who was a short Mexican woman spoke to me as I entered. The class was in a square shape. " I'm your English teacher, Mrs.Gios"She introduced herself. I nodded, Smiling shyly.
"Take a seat anywhere, We're just getting to know each other"She smiled. I looked around, There wasn't really anyone in the class. It wasn't a full class. I picked the seat closest to me. Which was right in front of a group of guys...There were a couple girls too, But the majority was guys.
They all stared at me as I came and sat down.
"Okay, So how many of you guys are freshman?" Mrs.Gios asked, Looking at the class. Only a few hands were raised, Including mine. "So, Let's go around the room, Say your name, Your grade and something interesting about yourself" She smiled.
"Let's start here" She pointed to my row, Great. I was the third person in my row...There was only one other person in my row.
"My name is Jala, I'm a sophmore, And I have two dogs" The girl in front of me introduced herself.
I sat up, Noticing that I was next. I don't like school, I don't like people, I don't like talking...
"My name is Jailyn, I'm a freshman, And I'm...5'3" I spoke shyly. I avoided looking at people. I heard someone behind me snicker, The group was behind me...I hate school. I tuned out everyone else as I pulled my phone out and began scrolling through social media's.
"No phones frezzy" A female's voice spoke from beside me. The hoe came all the way up to the front...Smh

The girl chuckled before getting up and going back to where she'd come from. Before I knew it, The class was over. I was low-key looking forward to seeing Ques.
Entering my next classroom, I chose a seat near the back. I spotted Ques and a couple other dudes as they entered. He searched the room and smiled as he spotted me. I watched as he approached.
"Wassup?" He spoke, Taking the seat next to me. "How was G?" He asked.
I shrugged carelessly.
My attention was torn to the front as the hoe entered. Ques noticed my gaze...
" 'At's Liah"Ques sighed, Leaning back. She looked at me, And Ques and gave me the look of death. "Don't even trip over her" He spoke.
"I wasn't planning on it" I rolled my eyes.
"You got a big attitude for somebody so Lil' " He smirked at me.
"No, I just know how t'handle myself" I shrugged.
"I respect that" He smiled, It was kind of awkward as the conversation died out. Class went by kind of fast, It was just introductions and stuff...
"Hey" Ques caught my attention as I was heading out of class. "I'ma hit you up after school" He informed. I nodded, Accepting it. He gave me a quick side hug before departing to the gym. I smiled to myself, Low-key looking forward to seeing him...
