Chapter 3

I look at my clock its 5:30 am and i can't sleep. Im still trying to figure out

what i need. It's almost time for school i get out of bed and start to get ready

for school. I start to put on some make up and a lot of it to cover up my baggy

eyes. I go down stairs and start to eat some breakfast. After i was done i went

to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. As i walked to school i just couldn't

stop thinking of what was missing that i needed. I got to school and saw Austin

Alex, Robert, Emily and Maria. Jennifer and Zach weren't coming to school

today i heard they ate some bad corn dogs and got food poisoning. I saw

Emily and Alex together and all i could focus was on Alex and i finally got

it that was the thing i was missing it was him. Alex. Oh no i was in love

with my best friends boyfriend. How was i going to hide that from her.

We told each other every thing. Just last night she told me that Alex

gave her a goodnight kiss. Maybe thats why i couldn't sleep i had feelings

for him and i didn't even notice. "hey" i heard a familiar voice. I looked up

it was Alex. All i saw was his beautiful smi-stop it Michelle. What am i

thinking "H-hi" i said struggling

" i just wanted to say you looked cute yesterday"

" oh thanks Alex." he nodded and opened his mouth to say something

but we were interrupted by Austin

"hey beautiful" he said smiling

"hi" but i didn't smile back

"whats wrong?" he asked me with a worried face

"nothing " i lied

"um listen i will catch you later i have to go to home room." i said while

closing my locker. As i walked to home room i realized Alex and Emily

were in home room. As i entered home room i walked over to sit next to

Maria. I would normally sit next to Emily but now she sits next to Alex.

Maria and I sat behind them and all i saw was them kissing and holding

hands. After home room Alex caught up with me and asked if me and

Austin wanted to go to the movies with him and Emily.

" uh...yeah sure does Austin know?" i asked

" yeah Emily asked him and he said that if your down to go then yes."

" oh ok so I'm going to head to math class." i told him

" I'll walk with you i have math too." he said

I didn't want to walk with him. I didn't want to do anything that

would ruin Alex's and Emily's relationship. In math class there was

two boys i loved Alex and Austin. If Emily found out she would kill me

well not literally but she would stop talking to me and cry all the time.

"hey babe" austin said

"hey" i said awkwardly. He gave me a kiss on the forehead.

" Hey babe so do you want to go to the movies with Alex and Emily?"

" um yeah sure if you want to, do you?"

" yeah sure why not"
