After introducing everyone, I direct everyone upstairs to my bedroom."Right let's play a game!" Melissa says seriously."We have to study" I replied, staring at Melissa."Well we will play truth or dare, but if you get the study question wrong, you have to choose truth or dare, and you don't if you get it right" Melissa explains.Everyone agrees. Melissa spins the bottle first, and it lands on Adam. He does a small smirk and picks up a study card, "what is the answer to, r(25×2) if r is 11? I ask Vanessa" he nods at me. I think for a second, doing the equation in my head."550" I reply which instantly makes Adam look a bit let down like he thought I would get it wrong.I spin the bottle quickly, and it lands on Penelope, "name a type of rock," I say while reading off the card.Penelope looks unsure and quite embarrassed, she doesn't know the answer. I know that she is t too great at science, math is her field. She does a small sigh and shakes her head with a slight frown."Sedimentary would be an acceptable answer," says Melissa reassuringly to Penelope, "truth or dare?"===After farewelling Adam, as he isn't staying for the sleepover, Melissa and I run upstairs and grab our matching pyjamas, Melissa had brought a spare for Penelope, and we all did a cliché 'makeover-and-Netflix-movie-sleepover.'We watched 'The Notebook' to go with the cliché theme. After the movie finished, we started doing each others makeup and hair and decided to do a fashion show.Penelope looked gorgeous in Vanessa's ombre black to white ankle-length dress and smokey rose gold eyeshadow. Her waist-length charcoal hair in big curls, credit of Melissa. We took model-worthy photos and posted them on Instagram getting instant likes even though it was already 1 am the next day.Melissa took a group photo of all of us dressed up in long, tight-fitting dresses with silky, flowing skirts.I was still getting changed when I heard Melissa and Penelope laughing about something. What I walked out of my ensuite and Melissa gasped at my appearance, while Penelope stood frozen with her mouth open like a fish out of water. My cheeks heat up at the attention.I turned to the mirror to see what all the fuss was. I wore a long green dress with small diamontes scattered at the collar matched with smokey black eyeshadow and matte nude lipstick.Melissa slowly walks towards me and then almost trips, which leads to the moment of silence ruined and a burst of laughter exiting all three.Melissa gets up and brushes herself off and continues to walk towards me; still, half laughing, and says "you look beautiful."A small smile spreads across my face and then goes to Melissas. She almost trips again on her magenta to black ombre ankle-length dress, and black heels, while walking back to the mirror to finish her other glittery eyeshadow and put in her left earring.===In the morning, I am the first to get up, at 4:43 am, so I decided to get up and go for a jog.About thirty minutes pass and I decide to run back home because I figured that they would be up by now. I continue to run down the street at a steady pace as I look down at my watch, 5:14 am. When I look up, I run into someone else. I scramble to get up and then apologize to the person I awkwardly ran into, not looking up, due to embarrassment, until my lips are pressed up against whoever the stranger was. I pull away and spring back home. Still, in shock, I make a run for it. I don't turn back; I don't want to look at them. I run back home and tell Melissa and Penelope about it accidentally waking them up."So they, he, just kissed you!?" Melissa says in surprise. "That is quicker than my relationship with Adam," she admits.===Because it was a Saturday, there was no school, so Penelope, Melissa and I decided to drive down to the beach and go shopping. We arrive at the local beach around 9:00, so it isn't crowded, seeming it is nearing winter. We all set out our belongings, and Melissa runs in to take a quick dip before too many people get to the beach.I watch Melissa splash around as my mind runs through the kiss this morning. Who could it be?Now that I think of it, I probably should have looked up or turned back to see who it was; the suspense is killing me."I will go in too if you don't mind watching my bag," Penelope says, making me snap out of my thoughts."Ah yeah sure, but maybe like 10 minutes though!" I call as she runs into the ocean water. What was I expected to do if someone tried to take our bags? Would I politely ask them to not, or fight them to the death? My head fills up with possibilities of what I would do in that situation. But I once again was stopped in her train of thought. Penelope and Melissa run back out again to wrap their towels around them and head to the showers.I grab all of our bags and wait on the westerns side of the public bathrooms. ==="So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your rover,That I know you can't afford, like that tattoo on your shoulder!" We all sing merrily while driving to the local Shopping Center in hope for sales, lunch and a park.We get there, and Melissa violently turns into an open park, "Jesus Christ Melissa!" I scream, slamming my hands into the dashboard to save myself, which stirs up a grumble of high pitched laughs from both Penelope and Melissa. We walk into the shopping centre and head straight for Supré.
