We rushed back to Maxs house in record time He happily let us in and said "so how did it go?" I looked back at him "Max, it wasn't even difficult, how did those people disappear?". Max looked confused and said "don't know, they never returned, so either they left after giving up or they too wander this place, restless, can I see it?" I was cautious about his answer, seemed rushed but I guess I only had suspicion, I handed him the book and it was like he was about to foam out his mouth. "This is incredible!" he opened the book and looked at it all, but his smile was replaced with a frown. "What's wrong?" Betameche asked "this is all useless if I don't have the ingredients, when the flood came most things were destroyed, more than half I can confirm were destroyed" Selenia sighed "so this was all meaningless then, right?" He smiled and said "no, I never said that, now let's see here" Max flipped around through the book and he smirked "ah ha!" I was confused "what?" Max said "there were rumors that this book held an alternate gateway, I think I just found it!". I was immediately skeptical about this "woah, woah, woah, so what you're saying is that if you created this for me, I could come and go whenever I want?" He nodded and said "yeah!" Maybe this wasn't a big waste of time after all.
