Samantha woke up with a sudden jolt.

"What the fish" She almost yelled, when she found herself in a rather unusual situation. She looked at him and saw him dozing, in his deep slumber.

How the hell did this happen?

She tried to move, but found that she was glued to him as his hand was tightly secured around her waist. Her hand on his chest, let her feel his deep, calm and slow breathing. She adored the sleeping Ian and pried his hand off her wrist. Her desire to touch him, materialized in her free hand, but thinking otherwise she held it back.

As she had rested her head on his shoulder, he had wrapped her from behind making it difficult for her to free herself. Ian's head was resting on the seat.

She heard a giggle and shifted her eyes to the passenger seat.

"Hi, I'm Carla, Kelly's cousin and you must be Sam" The passenger seat occupant introduced herself.

"Umm...hi" Samantha reciprocated and looked at the person behind the wheels.

Sean gave her a heart warming smile. "Did you have a nice sleep?" He asked, with his eyes focused on the front.

"Yeah, what time it is?" Samantha looked outside and tried to locate their whereabouts.

"Just about to reach" Sean turned the car to the left and parked just behind the other two cars.

"Is your friend planning to spend the weekend in the back seat?" Sean asked, tilting his head towards Ian.

Samantha looked at the sleeping Ian, who was oblivious of their arrival.

"Oh, I'll get that" Carla voice was chirpier then before, a tint of amusement, which Samantha didn't like.

Who is she, again? How does she know him?

Then it hit her, like an iron rod. His girlfriend. Her face contoured into a spasm of pain. She started to realize that this trip would be a mistake. Another of her petty one.

"Alright, let the love bird catch up each other," Sean spoke and Samantha's eyes went wide hearing those words.

Shortly after they left the gas station, both men switched places. Samantha tried to stay awake, but she had very little sleep the previous night so, out of tiredness she fell asleep.

After that what happened, she had no idea. How Kelly's cousin had joined them on this trip and why she was riding with them, no, nothing. But it was beginning to make sense now after hearing Sean.

Sean helped them unload the car and pulled Samantha along.

When she looked over her shoulder....mistake. Carla was all over Ian and he was grinning happily at his latest muse.

As soon as his eyes connected to her's, he stiffened and pulled away from Carla. Carla gave him a boning look and connected their hands. She started pulling him, but he was stuck in his place, as if doesn't know where to go.

"Come on, baby" Carla happiness filled tone, broke their staring spells.

Sean put his arm around her and kissed her forehead. "You alright?" He was concerned that the long journey might had a bearing on her mood.

Samantha nodded against his chest and wound her hand around his waist.

Ian was walking just a few steps behind them. He was not listening to Carla's blabbering. His attention was on the couple, who just went through the front door of the hotel.
