Chapter 16 The Dare

Lindsay's POV

I was helping Ginny while Harry was helping Ron and Nathan was helping Mr. Weasley. The twins learned how to surf fast. As I was helping Ginny I felt two pairs of eyes on us. I knew who was staring and why they were staring. They were staring cause me and Ginny were in two piece swimsuits. They saw us in our swimsuits when we were swimming. Now who was staring at us didn't surprise me. Harry was staring at Ginny and Nathan was staring at me. I decided to tease them a bit.

" Why don't you take a picture? It'll last longer," I said teasingly.

Ginny giggled at what I said. I giggled at the boys expressions.

" It's not funny," Harry said.

" Well, you weren't showing Ron how to surf the right way," I said.

" Then show us how to do it," Nathan said.

" Alright then," I said.

I grabbed my surfboard and went into the water.

No one's POV

Lindsay Potter had gone into the water and was waiting for a perfect wave. Everyone else was watching her. Then she sensed the perfect wave. She stood as the wave came. The wave was enclosing her. She gently touched the water. She finally got out of the enclose. Then, for fun, she jerked to the edge of the wave and did a spin. She fell into the water and swam back to the surface.

Lindsay's POV

I fell into the water on my back. Now that bloody hurt!

I swam to the surface, grabbed my board, and swam to shore. Once there I put my board on the ground. Then, before I could look at my family and friends, I got pinned to the ground. I felt soft lips touch mine. Our lips moved in sync. The lips touching mine tasted like white chocolate and apples. It was addicting

Then my dad cleared his throat. Probably because Nathan's hands were really low on my waist. His touch was gentle though. Then, when it got dark, we all sat around a fire. Nathan set up his electric guitar and handed me his acoustic.

" You'll know what to do," he whispered.

Nathan started playing.

" Beauty queen of only 18 she had some trouble with herself. He was always there to help her she always belonged to someone else," Nathan sang.

I started to play.

" I drove for miles and miles and wound up at your door. I've had you so many times but somehow I want more,"  I sang.

" I don't mind spending everyday out on your corner in  the pouring rain. Look for the girl with the broken smile. Ask her if she wants to stay awhile. And she will be loved. And she will be loved,"  we sang.

" Tap on my window knock on my door I want to make you feel beautiful. I know I tend get so insecure. It doesn't matter anymore," Nathan sang.

" It's not always rainbows and butterflies. It's compromise that moves us along. Yeah. My heart is full an my door's always open you can come anytime you want," I sang.

" I don't mind spending everyday out on your corner in the pouring rain. Look for the girl with the broken smile. Ask her if she wants to stay awhile. And she will be loved. And she will be loved. And she will be loved. And she will be loved," we sang.

" I know where you hide. Alone in your car. Know all of the things that make you who you are," I sang.

" I know that goodbye means nothing at all. Comes back and begs me to catch her every time," Nathan sang.

" She falls," we sang.

" Yeah. Tap on my window knock on my door I want to make you feel beautiful," Nathan sang.

" I don't mind spending everyday out on your corner in the pouring rain. Look for the girl with the broken smile. Ask her if she wants to stay awhile. And she will be loved. And she will be loved. And she will be loved. And she will be loved," we sang.

Then for a bit we just play the guitars.

" And she will be loved. And she will be loved," we sang.

When we finished applause came.
