Chapter 51 Occlumency

Lindsay's POV

It's the middle of March and Ginny is still having nightmares. I talked to Melody and she said she could help me teach my group of friends occlumency. Harry and Ginny would also be learning. There was no classes today and no Hogsmeade trip. I was meeting Luna, Susan, Blaise, Daphne, Cedric, Ginny, Harry, Fred, George, Ron, Nathan, Jack, Lucy, Neville, Hermione, Jayson, Victoria, Emma, and Melody in the Room of Requirements. When I walked in everyone looked at me.

" You're late," Melody said.

I took out my pocket watch and noticed that I came right on time. I put my pocket watch away. I looked at Melody.

" I'm actually right on time," I said.

Melody glared at me as I smiled.

" Ok. This is an occlumency lesson," I said.

" And where do we start," Hermione asked.

" We meditate," Nathan said.

" It's easy to create a wall in your mind if you're a natural. It can be hard to keep people out of your mind," Lucy said.

" How will we know if we can do Occlumency," Neville asked.

" I'm a master Legilimens so I'll go into your mind to test your walls," I said.

Neville, Hermione, Ron, Fred, George, Ginny, Harry, Blaise, Daphne, and Susan looked worried but Luna kept calm.

" Don't worry whatever I see stays between me and the person whose mind I was in," I said.

They all relaxed. I smiled at them then thought of a comfortable place for them to meditate. Everyone started meditating but Luna came up to me.

" What's up Luna," I asked.

" I was wondering if you could use Legilimency on me," Luna said.

I noticed Jack, Lucy, Jayson, Nathan, Emma, Victoria, and Melody were meditating too. I looked at Luna.

" Are you sure Luna," I asked.

I didn't want to bring up a bad memory.

" I'll be fine don't worry," Luna said.

I sighed in defeat. I pointed my wand at Luna and did the spell. The first I saw was a beautiful woman, who I knew was Luna's mother, that was playing with a young Luna. Then the memory switched to when Luna saw her mom die. Then it showed the  funeral and me and Ginny were trying to comfort Luna in her room. The memories got fuzzy and I was pushed out of Luna's mind.

" Well done Luna," I said looking at her and panting.

Luna smiled at me.

" Are you ok though Luna," I asked.

" I'm fine Lindsay. It was a bad memory but I know you didn't mean to. It's sometimes good to remember the past," Luna said with a smile.

I chuckled lightly.

" That's good advice," I said.

Luna smiled at me.  I looked at the others  and then I noticed Ginny was asleep. She looked like she was having a dream again. I ran over to her and grabbed her hand. I entered her mind and saw the same things as every other time. The same thing happened in the dreams. But this time when I opened my eyes I was having troubles breathing. I put my hand where there was pain. Ginny looked at me. The others ran to me. Nathan kneeled next to me and put one arm around my shoulders and his other hand he placed on my hand where there was pain.

" What's wrong Lindsay," Nathan asked.

I moved my hand and he moved his hand. I looked at my hand and his hand. Both had blood on them but mine was covered. The blood was my own and I know that when I was stabbed it was more effective because I wasn't asleep. My vision was blurry and I started to sway a bit. I felt myself hit the ground but I was glad I was kneeling. I heard my name being screamed and yelled at me before my entire world went pitch black.
