No one's POV
It was close to the end of the school year. Lindsay liked every class but DADA but Ginny wasn't close to her anymore. Ginny avoided Harry too. This worried the Potter siblings. Lindsay went to her brother.
" We need to send Dad a Maurader emergency letter," she said.
" I agree. We need the map," Harry said.
They wrote the letter and tied a green ribbon on the letter.
" Hedwig make sure my dad reads this without Mom around," Harry said handing the letter to the owl.
She flew off with the letter.
" We solemnly swear that we are up to no good," Lindsay and Harry said together.
James' POV
I had a day off but Lily had to work. I was sleeping when I heard a tap on the window. I got up out of bed and let the owl in. It was Hedwig. I took the letter. The ribbon tied to it meant, don't come this way, prank in progress, or trouble. I untie the letter and read it.
Dear Dad,
We need help. We need the Maurders map. Don't tell Mom. Ty\he reason we need the map is because Ginny isn't acting like herself. Please Dad.
We solemnly swear that we are up to no good,
Harry and Lindsay Potter. Young Mauraders.
I wrote back saying,
" Use it wisely. Mischief Managed."
I tied the ribbon to the map and letter. Then I sent Hedwig off.
Ginny's POV
I woke up in my dorm for once. I looked around and noticed only one bed was empty. Lindsay's bed was empty. I got ready and went to the Great Hall. I found Lindsay and Nathan eating breakfast and doing homework. I walk over and sit next to Lindsay.
" Ugh! I hate DADA homework. Lockhart is so self centered," Lindsay said.
Nathan chuckled and looked up. He saw me and smile.
" Look to your right love and you might not be so frustrated," he said.
Lindsay looked at him confused but then looked in my direction. I smiled at her. She hugged me.
" I haven't seen you in awhile," Lindsay said.
She stopped hugging me and she looked into my eyes.
" Yeah. I've been busy," I said.
I finish my breakfast and go to the second floor girls bathroom.
" Well done Ginny," Tom said.
I wanted to tell Lindsay and Harry. I needed their help.
" Please stop," I cried.
He just laughed. I try to remember something Lindsay told me. If I remember correctly it was;
" The bravest person I know is you Ginny. Stay strong for me and I'll stay strong for you."
That was a promise though and she always kept her promises no matter what. I now believe that Lindsay is braver than me. This was my last thought before everything went black.
