Chapter 21 The Guardian to Protect the Four Bonded

No one's POV

Harry James Potter awoke to find himself in the Hospital Wing. He felt a soft hand intertwined with his. He grabbed his glasses and looked to see who's hand he was holding. He found Ginny Weasley sleeping right next to him. He was going to move.

" I wouldn't do that," Lindsay said as she was getting off of her bed.

Once up she went over to Harry's and Ginny's bed with help from her crutch. she sat next to the bed.

Lindsay's POV

" What happened," Harry asked.

" I'll explain what I know when everyone's here and Ginny's awake," I said.

Then the Weasleys, Mom, Dad, Nathan, and Professor Dumbledore came in.

" Ms. Potter can you tell us what you remember," Professor Dumbledore asked.

I looked at Ginny and noticed she was waking. I quickly got up, even though there was a searing pain through my body, and rushed to sit next to her. I grabbed her free hand. She sat up gasping for air. I was quick to know what happened.

" Hey, it's ok. He's gone," I said.

She looked at me scared. I easily and carefully move so I'm sitting on the edge of the bed. Ginny then notices my leg.

" What happened to your leg," Ginny asked.

I sighed and look down. I'm about to lie. Luckily I have a plan.

" All I remember is going into the Chamber of Secrets with Harry and Professor Dumbledore. I ran to the black mist that surrounded Ginny. As soon as I was in the black mist something hit my leg. Next thing I know I'm in front of the Hospital Wing. Last thing I saw was a hooded figure before I blacked out," I said.

" Is that all you remember," Dumbledore asked.

" Yes and if I could say one thing to that person it would be thank you," I said.

" You're welcome," a voice said.

I looked up and saw a hooded figure.

" May I talk to you Ms. Potter and Mr. Jones alone please," the figure asked.

I nodded and got up. Me and Nathan followed the figure outside of the Hospital Wing. I look at the figure.

" Thank you for covering for me Melody," I said.

" Carter is the guardian of both bonded but no problem," Melody said handing me my cloak.

I de-age her so she looks like her normal age. She then walks away.

" You were brave," Nathan said.

" Thanks," I said.

We went into the Hospital Wing. I went back and sit next to Ginny.

" What did that hooded figure want," Mom asked.

" Just to ask me why I did something so reckless," I said.

The new sock on my foot was a pain. I notice the diary in Dumbledore's hand.

" Professor can I borrow that," I ask.

He hands me the diary and I put the sock I wasn't wearing into it making sure it's hidden. Then the Hospital Wing door opened.
