Chapter 53 The Third Task

Lindsay's POV

All of us champions spent the day with our families. Mom, Remus, Mrs. Weasley, and Bill were with us. Of course Kara had to come. Mr. Weasley, Dad, Sirius, and Tonks were working but would be at the task. I've also been watching Carter and something is off about him. We were waiting outside the maze. I really wasn't paying attention until the cannon sounded.

I walked into the maze with Harry and Cedric. I looked around and realized they weren't near me. I just walked in the direction Harry was since our bond is still strong. I saw my family, my friends, and Nathan dead a bit later. I started to panic a bit then I realized it was a Bogart. I pointed my wand at it.

" Ridikulus," I yelled.

It disappeared in smoke. I ran as fast as I could. I passed the Sphinx. The riddle I got was interesting and easy. I passed a Hippogriff. Soon I saw red sparks go into the air.

I ran in that direction. When I got closer I heard spells being fired. I was now standing behind Viktor.

" Lindsay move," Harry yelled.

Viktor turned to look at me and I saw his eyes. He was imperioused.

" Oh shit talking mushrooms," I muttered as I slowly walked backwards.

Viktor started to point his wand at me. Yep I'm in big trouble if someone doesn't hit him with a spell. Please Merlin let Viktor Krum be knocked out with a spell. Soon he was knocked out by a spell from Cedric. Then Cedric started walking towards me.

" He was bewitched Cedric," Harry said trying to pull Cedric away.

I figured out what Cedric was trying to do so I kick Viktor's wand out of his hand. Cedric got Harry's hand off of him. Soon all three of us saw the cup. We looked at each other then the three of us ran to it. We were close when Cedric got caught by one of Aragog's children. Harry and I looked back. We pointed our wands at the spider.

" Aronia Exima," Harry and I yelled.

Once the spider was off of Cedric we helped him up.

" Thank you. For a second there I thoughtyou both were going to let it get me," Cedric said.

" Never," I said.

Then a gust of wind came and the maze started closing. We ran to the cup.

" Go on take it. You both saved me so take it," Cedric said once we reached the cup.

" We'll take it together," Harry said.

That's what we did. Everything spun around then we hit the ground. Hurry and I got up and looked around.

" It's a portkey you two. The cup is a portkey," Cedric said looking at the cup.

" We need to get out of here," I said.

" Why," Cedric asked.

As I was about to answer lights were lit. I pulled Cedric behind a tombstone while Harry was distracted. I pointed my wand at Cedric.

" I'm sorry. Petrificus Totalus," I said.

He froze and fell to the ground and he looks like a board. Is the disillusionment charm. Finally I stepped out from behind the tombstone. I was hit with a spell. Everything went black and that was the last thing I remember........
