Chapter 52 Card Reading

Harry's POV

I was in the Common Room with Lindsay, Victoria, Nathan, Jack, Lucy, Fred, George, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, and Neville. Jayson and Emma were somewhere else with each other. Lindsay was sitting on the floor facing the coffee table. The rest of us were on the couches and chairs talking. Then Lindsay said a swear word that would get her in trouble if we were at home.

" What's the matter sis," I asked.

" I don't get it," Lindsay said.

" What are you trying to do," Neville asked.

" I'm trying to read Harry's future," Lindsay said.

" Lindsay Divination is a bunch of baloney," Hermione said.

" Don't underestimate Lindsay's reading of the future Hermione," Victoria said.

" What are you getting for Harry's future Love," Nathan asked.

" For his past I get the child which means childhood. For his present I get two cards. The first one is two rings which means marriage but it also means bond. The second one is a graveyard with a hand coming out of the ground which means resurrection. His card for the future is blank every time," Lindsay said.

" What about your future? Have you tried reading that," Lucy asked.

Lindsay shook her head. Soon six cards were in front of Lindsay. She flipped them over.

" What did you get," Nathan asked.

" My past and present cards are the same as Harry's. My future has the maiden, which means fertility or becoming a mother, the battlefield, which means battles or a war, and family, which means I'll have a family," Lindsay said.

Suddenly a new card landed in Lindsay's future. Lindsay flipped it over. She took a deep breath of air. She was shaking.

" What's the last one Lindsay," Victoria asked.

" It's the Grim Reaper," Lindsay said.

" What does it mean," I asked.

" It depends on the Grim Reaper card," Jack said. 

Lucy looked at the cards.

" How bad is it Lucy," Victoria asked.

" Pretty bad. This one means a sibling will die or you will die in front of them," Lucy said.

Nathan kneeled next to Lindsay and hugged her. Lindsay flipped the card over and there was a note.

This can be changed.

- Piper

" Yeah like that helps her any Piper," Lucy said looking up at the ceiling.

" It's fine Lucy," Lindsay said.

" I'm still wondering why you got the maiden," Victoria said.

" It means I'll get pregnant before some of this stuff happens," Lindsay said.

" But we swore-," Nathan started to say.

" I know but Fate might not give us a choice," Lindsay said.

" Maybe you two will have a Weasley sized family," Jack joked.

" What's that supposed to mean," Ron asked.

" He was joking Ron," George said.

" But judging the looks on Nathan's and Lindsay's faces it is possible they could have a large family," Fred said.

" But we don't know for sure," Ginny said.

" We'll have to wait and see," Lindsay said.

Lindsay collected her cards and shuffled them. Soon Jayson and Emma came back.

" Hey you two. How was your alone time," Nathan asked.

" You didn't do anything we wouldn't do did you," Lindsay asked smirking.

" That's none of your business," Jayson said blushing.

" And for your information we didn't do anything you two haven't done," Emma said.

We all continued to talk. Soon we all went to bed after saying goodnight.
